@AnnCoulter Still Enraged at CPAC Rejection

Polemicist Ann Coulter remains enraged at CPAC for its six-year-long rejection of her, despite the fact that she is wholly responsible for her plight. Over many years, Coulter snookered, scammed, and betrayed CPAC … yet she still feels entitled to speak at CPAC.

How blind arrogance can be!

Since even before 2014 (her last appearance at CPAC), Coulter has disparaged CPAC for not being conservative enough. Even in 2020, Coulter has tweeted multiple times attacking CPAC.

Here’s one:

For years, Coulter’s ego fed upon her self-identity as the darling of CPAC and, now that CPAC has resoundingly rejected her, she acts like the stereotypical scorned woman.

Her devoted fans seem immune to the irony and puzzled by the fact that CPAC has also banished RINO Mitt Romney. Coulter was devoted to Romney for fully a decade or more, this despite him calling himself an “extreme conservative” (at CPAC, no less) – as if any conservative would self-identify as extreme.

Let’s review what happened. (Facts matter.)

CPAC Shunned Coulter in 2015 and Ann was Incensed

In 2015, for the first time in 18 years, Ann Coulter was not invited to speak at CPAC.

CPAC Finally Rejected Coulter, despite many factors in her favor:

Longevity. Coulter has spoken at every CPAC conference from 1998-2014.

Coulter was the author of ten books (nine were best-sellers) with an eleventh book to be released this June.

Coulter was the legal correspondent for Human Events, author with Regnery, and a speaker for the Young America’s Foundation, the Claire Boothe Luce Policy Institute, and the College Republicans, all represented at CPAC.

Many of Coulter’s powerful friends were speakers at CPAC and associated with the leadership at CPAC.

Still, CPAC snubbed Coulter. Why?

Why CPAC Rejected Coulter

After 9/11, Coulter’s CPAC appearances were continually mired in controversies of Coulter’s own making. Her provocative rhetoric became extreme. She regularly employed elimination rhetoric. Coulter seemingly sought to upstage CPAC at every turn.

One year, a host of conservative organizations and bloggers threatened to boycott CPAC if Coulter was invited to speak. Coulter was rejected as a speaker but, through slight-of-hand, spoke anyway. In both 2013 and 2014, Coulter was invited at the last minute, due to aggressive campaigns by Coulter to appear. (Friends in high places have always come to her aid.)

Coulter’s antics continued in 2014, with Coulter coordinating a phony debate, disparaging poor people, issuing death threats, and falsely claiming to have been raped.[1]

But in 2014, Coulter crossed a non-negotiable red-line: Coulter publicly betrayed CPAC.

Coulter has a long history of betraying friends,[2] colleagues,[3] and clients.[4] Then, Coulter publicly betrayed CPAC.

Within weeks of her appearance at CPAC 2014, Coulter boasted of scamming CPAC. She bragged about this “really so brilliant” scam to thwart CPAC’s agenda “despite CPAC’s best efforts.”

Nicely done, Ann.

Such is Coulter’s ego that she believes – after scamming CPAC – that CPAC would still be obligated to invite her to speak in subsequent years.

Coulter’s Ego Wounded

As a self-absorbed narcissist, Coulter feels entitled to speak at CPAC, no matter what she has said or done in the past. That sense of entitlement has been apparent for more than a decade.

In 2014, Coulter was irate that she was invited to only a debate (even though she was able to pick her debate partner, her friend, Mickey Kaus). Coulter did not want to settle for a debate. She wanted to give a speech.

Coulter then took the grace extended by CPAC and “scammed” them.

In 2015, even though she was justifiably not invited, Coulter extended her wrath toward CPAC.

Coulter on the Offensive

Coulter told the Washington Examiner: “I wasn’t invited. I might just show up anyway just to piss them off. I could be the Bibi Netanyahu of CPAC.”

Why would Coulter want to piss off CPAC? Ego? The woman scorned? A vengeful nature?

Did you notice, Coulter places herself and her situation on par with that of Bibi Netanyahu?! Coulter likens herself to the Israeli Prime Minister, renowned for his courage, his eloquence, and his principled character.

(Instead of accusing CPAC of conspiring to silence her, Coulter should have acted like a lady and either demurred to answer or acknowledged the wealth of talented professionals available to speak at CPAC. As for CPAC, ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp responded with grace: “Ann Coulter is welcome at CPAC. We come up with the agenda. There’s so many speaking slots; you go through who would be a good fit. She’s a great fit here. She’s welcome to be here.”)

But beyond that, Coulter’s tweets also reveal her own denial of reality and her self-absorption.

In the top tweet, Coulter mocked CPAC, a sure strategy to elicit their future support.

In the next tweet, Coulter boasted of her popularity, not a particularly endearing trait.

In the third tweet, Coulter again claimed that the reason for her exclusion from CPAC is amnesty. This is a red herring. That year, CPAC repeatedly addressed amnesty. Many of the speakers, including presidential candidates, spoke of amnesty. Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and Marco Rubio were specifically queried about their views on immigration.

Coulter also tweeted what she had emailed to the Washington Examiner: “I’ll be the Bibi Netanyahu of CPAC!”

Chutzpah!

CPAC has discovered that we should Never Trust Ann Coulter – at ANY Age![5]

Even though she considers herself indispensable to CPAC (and CPAC indispensable to her standing as a great conservative leader), Coulter was missed only by herself.

@AnnCoulter’s Bush Derangement Syndrome

Self-described polemicist Ann Coulter is well known for embracing elimination rhetoric. She equally enjoys mocking the recently deceased and those grieving their loss.

Barbara Bush Funeral

2018 would prove no exception to the Coulter Ghastly Eulogy Rule. Coulter’s tongue-in-cheek tweet must have sliced into the hearts of the bereaved who knew of her hatred for them.

George Herbert Walker Bush Funeral

With the passing of President George H.W. Bush, Coulter kicked her Defaming the Dead and Bereaved Shtick into high gear without a moment’s hesitation.

Coulter deliberately and maliciously published her weekly column early to taint George H.W. Bush’s public funeral at the National Cathedral. She sought to coincide her smear job as closely as possible with the funeral services.

In her column, Coulter totally disparaged the accomplishments and character of a true American war hero, public servant, and an honorable, God-fearing family man.

Instead, she claimed that the Willie Horton ad was “the one thing Bush got right in his entire public career.”

In addition to a very flawed reading of the man and his presidency, Coulter got one crucial detail totally wrong: Bush did not produce the Horton ad; rather, it was the product of the National Security PAC, which, by law, was not allowed to coordinate its activities with a particular candidate.

Again, the central core point of Coulter’s columnBush’s greatest 30 seconds of his public lifewas totally wrong.

One of Bush’s most striking accomplishments was his nomination of Justice Thomas to the Supreme Court!

Coulter’s close friend, Greg Gutfeld, had this to say:

“When you thought of Mr. [George H.W.] Bush, what did you most think about? Patriotism, duty, family, faith. Isn’t that the stuff that is openly mocked today by pop culture, the media, academia? … Yet, this week, those were the things that mattered!”[1]

Well, apparently not to Coulter.

Coulter’s column (in lieu of an actual eulogy) totally misrepresented the man, his character, and his presidency. Coulter claimed that Bush’s finest moment was the 30-second Willie Horton ad that, in fact, Bush had nothing to do with.

Rather than enumerate his many accomplishments over a lifetime of public service (beginning as an American war hero), Coulter denigrated him at every opportunity.

Bush was her political foe (on her issues) and, therefore, an evil person.

Coulter even managed to get a dig in for both the McCain and Bush families. (Classy!)

This is how most Americans remember George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush.

American Thinker offered thoughtful reflections:

“In Bush’s funeral this week we remembered how long we have endured this wasteland of character.”

Continuing (emphasis added):

“Perhaps the strongest note of wistful longing in Bush’s funeral was the lifelong example of a leader who lived by a set of transcendent values.  Honor, friendship, loyalty, honesty – Americans have always believed that these immaterial attributes were the basis of a good life.”

Common human decency and honor continue to elude Coulter. Perhaps that’s why so many people regard her as heartless.

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis in this holistic exposé of how and why Coulter has become the polemicist whom people either love or hate.

Joker addresses the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, familial, sexual, and spiritual dimensions which have shaped the Ann Coulter that we know today and it highlights both the positives and the negatives of Coulter’s life and career.

Coulter Lies About Media Lying About Her and Trump

Who knew? Both Donald Trump and Ann Coulter have the precisely the same identical problem: Neither of them ever say anything wrong and everything the media says about them is a lie.

Media Lies

To continue this propagandistic point she has been making for months, in her latest column (“How the Media Work”) Coulter lies – and lies wholeheartedly – about an incident from 2007. Not only does she lie about the underlying details but also about the factually-correct reporting of the event.

Coulter wrote: “This isn’t taking something ‘out of context’ – it’s a lie. Try quoting the full sentence!”

OK, I will.

Coulter recalls a Good Morning America appearance (6/25/07) in which she said (full quote, emphasis added):

“Oh yeah. I wouldn’t insult gays by comparing them to John Edwards. Now, that would be mean. But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. So I’ve learned my lesson. If I’m gonna say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Coulter’s next words: “I’m not a rhetorician, but I believe this would be called a ‘syllogism,’ or ‘deductive reasoning.’” (Thanks for the patina of journalistic professionalism, Ann.)

Coulter continued: “Or maybe it’s just sarcasm about the media’s rank hypocrisy.”

The truth differs dramatically from Coulter’s imagined fantasy.

The media naturally and accurately reported that Coulter called for John Edwards assassination by a terrorist. According to Coulter, “Hundreds of news outlets repeated this lie.” Except, it wasn’t a lie!

Yet, Coulter calls this a lie, claiming her words were “taken out of context.”

What was the context? What made it a “’syllogism,’ or ‘deductive reasoning?’” Or “sarcasm?”

The context was Coulter comparing what she was saying about Edwards to her own false version of what Maher said about Cheney. The media largely ignored the Maher portion of her full quote because it was a lie. Maher never said what Coulter claimed Maher said.

Here’s what Maher said: “I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact.”

Here’s what Coulter said, “I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

One is propositional, the other hypothetical. One is an expressed desire, the other a stated opinion.

Yet Coulter has the temerity to write:

“Ironically, the media’s rewrite pretty forcefully proved my point about the gigantic double standard for liberals and conservatives: In order to prove I was a monster, the media put a liberal’s words in my mouth – the exact same words they hadn’t minded when a liberal said them.”

Except the words were Coulter’s, not Maher’s. Coulter out her own words into a liberal’s mouth.

Remember, Maher never said what Coulter claimed he said. So why would the media deliberately perpetuate a lie created by Coulter?

Maybe Coulter really is a “monster,” to use her own vernacular.

When queried by Fox News about those comments, “radio talk show host Rob Thompson” described Coulter as “intellectual chewing gum … a lady in a dress who likes to spit out things that cause a little bit of unrest, and she’ll go away for a while. She’ll crawl back in her hole and we’ll hear from her in about six months.”

Coulter’s larger point and broader claim that both she and Trump have been victimized by media lies is balderdash. (Coulter has been crying victim for twenty years!)

The truth of what they say and do is far more effective than any lie could be.

Most Americans Are Establishment!

At least, Ann Coulter seems to think so!

Establishment

According to Coulter, Donald Trump is the quintessential anti-Establishment figure. Rather, Trump is your prototypical Establishment insider. He always has been and always will be. Trump knows how to work the system, get the deal, be flexible.

As for the American people, Coulter must believe that most of us are Establishment, too.

How so?

Coulter claims that anyone opposed to Trump must be, ipso facto, Establishment. In a recent twitter rant against the Koch brothers, Coulter took them to task for opposing Trump, concluding that, therefore, they must be part of the Establishment.

Most Americans are vocally and viscerally opposed to Trump. Ergo, we are Establishment!

Once praised for her logic, Coulter appears to have wholeheartedly embraced Trump’s banalities and buffoonish bravado. What a pity!

Stolen Election?

Donald Trump, and his foremost lapdog, Ann Coulter, insist that the GOP nomination and election are being “stolen” from The Donald.

The truth evades those who dwell in lies.

Stolen Election

In her April 20th column, Coulter reprised her absurd election-stealing charges,[1] distinguishing between “elections, not party-rigged conferences or caucuses.”

Every eligible voter is able to do so in a caucus, a primary, or a conference.

Coulter once loved federalism, but now – for this election cycle[2] – wants a single, uniform, monolithic system for voting. Why? Because Trump is ignorant of the rules![3]

A member of Free Republic, Kandy Atz, provided excellent analysis of one particularly nonsensical paragraph contained in one of Coulter’s more vitriolic diatribes.[4]

Coulter’s propagandistic paragraph:

Until Cruz won a primary in mean-as-a-snake Wisconsin, he hadn’t won a single primary – i.e., an ‘election’ – outside of his home state, a sister state and a state where Trump didn’t campaign. In fact, until cantankerous Wisconsin, the only primary where Cruz managed to surpass 34 percent of the vote was his home state of Texas – where he got 43.8 percent.”

You don’t have to be a particularly astute reader to recognize the nonsense contained in those words.

Here is Freeper Kandy Atz’s Response:

“Has Ann gone bat guano crazy? So states that don’t allow Democrats to select the GOP candidate are somehow evil? And they adopted rules to help … Ted Cruz? He must be really amazing to anticipate exactly where the campaign would be a year in advance and then fly all over the country in time to change the rules so that they would work perfectly just for him right at this moment. What an amazing candidate!”

“Instead of attacking Ted Cruz for playing by the rules, she should be complaining about the dysfunctional Trump campaign. He has virtually no ground game, and sometimes doesn’t even know when to show up – see his latest Washington state fiasco. Is this a serious campaign for POTUS, or just another reality TV show Ann?”

“Trump has NEVER topped 50% in any state. His best performance 49.31 was in THE MOST PROGRESSIVE STATE ON THE PLANET, politically just to the left of North Korea. Yep, that Trump fella is a force to be reckoned with. He’s unstoppable. I promise you what people in Taxachusetts want in a President is WILDLY different from most Americans, especially Christians and Conservatives. BTW – Has Cruz whined and complained about the Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, or Kentucky caucuses? I wonder why not? Now that the field is narrowed and Conservatives aren’t splitting their votes 3-5 ways, it will get much harder for Trump to win any state, except his mind-numbed progressive friends in the Northeast. Enjoy that lead while you have it, and oh by the way, have Trump read the rules.”

“Speaking of Texas, there were 14 people on the ballot when early voting began, and a massive influx of DNC voters/rent-a-Trump-mob types in the open primary. Even with all those advantages, Cruz still beat Trump by almost 500,000 votes. Setting aside the votes for Cruz, in the MOST RELIABLY CONSERVATIVE STATE IN THE UNION, more people voted AGAINST the progressive reality TV star than for him – (837,154 to 757,489). Don’t know how one spins that as a negative for Cruz, but it’s certainly NOT a positive for Trump moving forward.”

“The primary system in recent years has given us 2 progressives – McCain, Romney, and now a hard core NYC values big government progressive – Trump, is leading. After watching far too many Democrats vote in the GOP primary in Texas, I’m leaning more towards a caucus or closed primary in the future. The GOP cannot allow progressives, especially Democrat crossovers to have so much influence over our nominee. Ann may be happy nominating Obama-lite and Hillary-lite, but it’s the fastest way to kill turnout among Conservatives and Christians, and is disastrous for local and state races down the ticket. They are terrified at the prospect of Trump at the top of the ticket. What a nightmare that would be, even in reliably Conservative districts/counties/states.”

Ann Coulter is NOT John the Baptist

John the Baptist lost his head for proclaiming God’s truth and holiness. Ann Coulter has betrayed all that she once believed in to promote the ungodly and profane.[1]

Now Coulter is a champion of New York Values, the kind she has opposed her entire adult life.

Not John the Baptist

A recent headline exposed Coulter’s betrayal: “Ann Coulter Says Trump’s Affair With Marla Maples Was Sanctioned By God.”

Coulter Praises Donald Trump’s Adultery

In an astonishing dialogue with Eric Metaxas, Coulter defended Trump’s vice as a virtue![2] In response to Metaxas’ declaration, “His vice of choice was adultery,” Coulter replied, “Allegedly.” Allegedly? Trump boasts of his conquests and his sexual desire for his own daughter!

Coulter added, “You know where he met Marla Maples? You know where he met her? I haven’t really followed his personal story very closely but he met her in church.”

According to Coulter, Trump’s long-term affair was justified because “he did marry her.” (No comment about his subsequent divorce or any of his affairs.) Coulter even claimed, “There are degrees of murder, there are degrees of adultery.” (However, all murderers are punished!)

Coulter will countenance any evil so long as she gets her way. In this case, she wants Trump to build a wall in her honor. She said, “It’s not his strongest point, oh well. He’s the only one who’s going to build the wall.” (Except, Trump will not build the wall Coulter wants.[3] Cruz will!)[4]

Coulter Condemns Divorce and Adultery

Nevertheless, Coulter continues to reject the sacred for the profane.

Until now, Coulter has condemned adultery (and divorce) throughout her professional career, chastising any public figures caught in that practice. She is wont to call the Democrat Party the party of “killing, lying, adultery, thievery, envy.”

For Coulter, admirable people cannot be adulterers. Coulter once declared, “None of the leaders I admire [have had affairs].”[5] (Until Trump!)

Coulter immediately added, “The greatest president of this century certainly never had an affair. … Of course we know that [he never had an affair]. Ronald Reagan could not possibly have had an affair. It is beyond the realm of possibility.”

Then, faithfulness and kept promises mattered to Coulter. Now, not so much.

Coulter Touts “The Rules”

A stickler for details and the letter of the law (until Trump, that is – now, “THE RULES[6] no longer matter), Coulter has always stridently decried divorce, citing it’s close connection with adultery. Coulter explained:

“To be absolutely punctilious about the sort of Bible description of divorce, it is considered adultery because the ‘one and only’ is your one and only. So you may go through our little civil procedures but your second wife would be considered – I guess divorce would be better than adultery as long as you don’t re-marry because the marriage would technically be considered adultery.”[7]

What about Trump’s confessed adulterous affairs and two divorces?

Coulter Loves Outing Adulterers

Coulter also favors news outlets and tabloids exposing prominent figures as adulterers. She said, “I’m all for outing adulterers, whether it’s some Hollywood starlet telling on a politician. I love that.”[8]

An effusive Coulter continued, “Oh, yeah, I love that. It’s like having all these Bernie Goetzs of adultery out there. They’re preventing people from committing adultery for fear of being exposed.”

But Trump, her Savior,[9] is now off limits!

Coulter Condemns Rudy Giuliani

Indeed, Coulter regards divorce and adultery as disqualifying factors for public office.

In 2000, Coulter denounced Rudy Giuliani as an adulterer (“committed adulterer,” “chasing tail,” “pathetic,” “boob,” and “pig” “forever wetting [himself] in public”), Coulter ridiculed the appearance of his mistresses. Consider Coulter’s lengthy tirade against Giuliani’s mistresses:[10]

“It seems to me that once a woman puts her sexual attractiveness at issue by, for example, competing sexually for the husbands of other women, she’s made her relative pulchritude fair game. Indeed, it is impossible to comprehend why some Republicans are still defending Giuliani’s honor without taking note of how homely his mistresses are.” (Isn’t Coulter now defending Trump’s honor?)

Coulter’s diatribe continued: “On every possible scale – body, face, youthful appearance, accomplishments, style, pedigree, IQ – Giuliani’s wife is several orders of magnitude superior to his apparent mistresses. His latest acquisition is even more squat and frumpy than the last consort.”

Rudy Giuliani was a letch, but Donald Trump is a saint?

John the Baptist

In contrast to Coulter, John the Baptist was devoted to righteousness and holy living. John repeatedly condemned King Herod for his sexual deviancy – and lost his head for it.

As reported in the Gospel of John (6:16-18):

“But when Herod heard, he said, ‘This is John, whom I beheaded; he has been raised from the dead!’ For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife; for he had married her. Because John had said to Herod, ‘It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.’”

Jesus persistently condemned adultery, going so far as to say, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Mt. 5:27-28).”

Coulter once understood and agreed with that teaching, but now, for political purposes, Coulter calls evil good and good evil. Trump even lusts for his own daughter!

Less than a year ago, Coulter bragged, “I’ve never sucked up to anybody. I’ve always said what I believe.”[11]

(Sorry, Ann, but you’ve become the biggest suck-up in modern American history.)

Ann Coulter: Wisconsin Sucks

In her latest column,[1] Ann Coulter called Wisconsin a “mean-as-a-snake” “Soviet” state.

Wisconsin Sucks

Her evidence?

Point One: Donald Trump lost. (We could just stop right there. Just like Trump, anyone opposed to her or her agenda is ipso facto evil.)

Point Two: Thugs from across America joined with teachers unions to besiege and takeover the state capitol in 2011.

Coulter fails to explain her non-sequitur, namely, how liberal activists from across the nation are representative of conservatives running a Republican convention.

Moreover, Coulter concludes that those  very same thugs represent the whole of Wisconsin. How, then, does Coulter account for Gov. Scott Walker’s tremendous popularity in his home state. Walker won three elections there!

Point Three: Because Wisconsin has “virtually no immigrants,” they cannot understand the reality contained in Trump’s message and her latest book.[2]

It would behoove Coulter not to disparage “cantankerous Wisconsin” for – horror of horrors – disagreeing with Coulter. Moreover, Coulter’s own opening paragraph cites “Trump’s rough style,”[3] one which a growing number of conservatives deplore. There is more to a Trump candidacy than a phony immigration platform.[4]

Coulter once said, “All countries suck compared to America.”[5] Now, apparently so does Wisconsin.

Coulter should look in the mirror before casting any more stones!

Coulter Bass Akwards on Elections

Ann Coulter has uttered absurdities which would make even Homer Simpson blush.

Coulter’s lies about caucuses and opened and closed primaries are easy to refute with a little logic and a few facts. Same with her lies about “voter-less” and “stolen” elections.

Coulter = Homer Simpson

Erstwhile law-and-order zealot and federalism advocate suddenly hates both the rule of law and federalism. Why? Because they are thwarting Trump’s efforts to win the GOP nomination.

Suddenly, Coulter sees nonexistent “voter-less elections” and “stolen elections” where none exist. Moreover, she regards primaries as infinitely superior to caucuses and conventions, which she claims are somehow illegitimate. Coulter disparages the freedom that each state has under the Constitution to hold elections and select its delegates.

Coulter is more of a fraud[1] than Donald Trump.[2] To salvage Trump’s quest for the GOP nomination, Coulter engages in full-blown Orwellian propaganda.[3] Her column last week blasted Ted Cruz for following the rules and winning delegates[4]legally and ethically!

In that column[5] (and subsequent Facebook postings), makes Homer Simpson-blushing assertions which are utterly absurd and eminently disprovable.

“Voter-less elections” are not voter-less. Coulter claims that “state Republican parties disregard the voters and give all their delegates to Cruz,” except, the voters in those states elected the delegates. She alleges “procedural loopholes” and charges “corrupt backroom maneuvering” by “tiny groups of insiders.”

The facts are otherwise. Election laws in many of these states are similar to when the Party of Lincoln and Reagan was founded. Each state determines how it will hold elections: (open or closed) primary, caucus, convention. All eligible voters can be part of the process to support or become delegates.

Coulter defends Trump’s ineptitude by claiming, “Trump keeps winning elections, and Cruz keeps winning sneaky procedural victories.” Except, Trump also keeps losing elections and Cruz’s “procedural victories” are neither sneaky nor illegal.

Coulter claims that only primaries are “elections,” and that caucuses are somehow fraudulent.

A caucus is an election. People vote. Everyone who is an eligible voter is able to vote. Not without irony, Coulter favors poll taxes and literacy tests for voting, so, Coulter should prefer caucus voters, who tend to be more informed and more engaged voters.

Nevertheless, Coulter claims: “General election is winner take all; General election is NOT a little meeting of party insiders.”

Repeating a lie does not make it true. Caucuses and conventions are not little meetings of party insiders.

Coulter also asserts, “Caucuses & conventions are not ELECTIONS.”

Except, caucuses and conventions are elections! People vote. People vote.

According to Coulter, “GOP has to beat Hillary in an ELECTION, not a little meeting. Trump keeps winning all the ELECTIONS; Cruz wins little meetings. Who cares if those were the rules??? That’s not how to pick a winner!”

Each state, in its own way, selects its preferred candidate. That’s the way it has always been. The nomination is not being stolen from Trump. Rather, Trump is failing to win it.

Confronted with the reality that over 1.3 million people voted in UT, ND, WI, CO & WY and Trump lost all five, Coulter posted: “Only one of those, WI, was what we call an ‘election.’ Does Cruz think he beats Hillary by winning over GOP insiders?”

All were elections. “GOP insiders” did not steal those elections. Cruz won because more people voted for him.

Coulter hates the results so she fudges the facts.

Let’s remember: More Republicans have voted against Trump than for him.[6]

Remember, Trump did better in open primaries (where Democrats – who will vote Democrat in November – voted for Trump) and worse in closed primaries (where liberal spoilers were foiled).

Remember, a larger percentage of early-voters, than late-voters, voted for Trump. The more the electorate learns about Trump the less it likes him.

Donald Trump, Coulter’s current Savior,[7] is a Clintonesque RINO posing as a conservative populist. A Trump nomination would ensure a Democrat victory in this election.[8]

Update: In her April 20th column, Coulter reprised her absurd election-stealing charges, distinguishing between “elections, not party-rigged conferences or caucuses.” The truth evades those who dwell in lies.

Coulter Hates ‘THE RULES’ That Thwart Trump

In her Trumpmania column of the week, Trump apologist Ann Coulter decries the various state and local election laws (“THE RULES,” as she emphasized nine times) which have frustrated and may well thwart Trump’s presidential ambitions.[1]

The RULES

Coulter regurgitates the false narrative of the election being stolen from Trump and she reprises her own fabrication that Cruz is ineligible to be elected president.[2] That birther claim has been consistently debunked by constitutional law, history, and logic,[3] as well as in every court where it has been tested.

Coulter, who has inexplicably and inextricably linked[4] her career and reputation[5] to yet another failed candidacy,[6] now frantically seeks to prevent a Cruz victory, even if it means the destruction of the conservative movement[7] and the further suicidal transformation of America from what we once knew to, as Coulter puts it, a “Third World Hellhole.”

Actually, there is reason in her madness. Coulter latched onto Trump as a means to promote herself, her book, and her agenda. Now that the real Donald Trump has emerged[8]a Donald Trump who would never pursue her agenda[9] – Coulter is in denial and desperately deflects attention from the truth and from her own culpability. When Trump falls, so does Coulter.

Foisting RINO Romney on America[10] was bad enough (at least Romney is an honorable man), but libertine liberal Donald Trump?[11] Shame on you, Ann![12]

Coulter’s Orwellian Opus

Ann Coulter seeks to impose her will on the American people by using a variety of Orwellian propaganda techniques.

Orwellian Opus

Her column, “Moonie for Cruz,” is a perfect example. In it, she employs a host of Orwellian constructs to turn reality upside-down.

With just 1,241 words, polemicist Ann Coulter provided an excellent example of Orwellian rhetoric.

Primaries vs. Caucuses

Coulter began her column contending that Trump winning primaries is better than Cruz winning caucuses, which she regards as inferior and somehow illegitimate. She neglected to point out that open primaries enabled Democrats to vote for Trump, people who will arguably vote Democrat in November.

Coulter even ludicrously claimed “that a brokered Republican convention is more likely to end with Bernie as the nominee than Cruz.” Coulter is desperate to prevent a Cruz victory,[1] truth be damned.

Big Lie

This leads to Coulter’s Big Lie: Donald Trump is the real deal and a true American patriot who will win, win, win;[2] Ted Cruz is a liar and a fraud and he cannot win. Reality is, of course, the exact opposite.[3]

Coulter claims “that Trump was the choice of a majority of Republican voters,” when, in fact, the majority of Republican voters have voted against Trump. (Coulter and Trump both need to grasp the difference between “majority” and “plurality.”)

Two Minutes Hate

In Orwell’s world, Big Brother orchestrated a daily “Two-Minutes Hate” and a periodic “Hate Week” to demonize political foes. Big Brother’s campaign was intensely emotion-laden and reason free.

Utterly ignoring the very real and indisputable cult of Trump, Coulter lambasted imaginary “Cruz cultists,” claiming they “don’t even care about plain honesty.” (Yes, Ann, honesty is “a conservative value.” Try it sometime.)[4]

Coulter blasted the apocryphal “Cruz cultists” as “guttersnipe, lying political operators like the Clintons.” Her column is replete with such ad hominem invective.[5]

Emmanuel Goldstein

Coulter’s archenemy, Emmanuel Goldstein, is a composite “Cruz cultist” which bears no resemblance to reality.

Coulter quipped, “If James Carville and Paul Begala had a baby, it would be a Cruz supporter.” Physically impossible (does Ann know anatomy?), neither progenitor is apt. Indeed, both would be far more apropos of a Trump, not a Cruz, supporter. Projection?[6]

No one has likened Cruz to either Carville or Begala. However, Cruz has been likened to Ronald Reagan.

A more factually-based quip would be something like, “If Twiggy and Miley Cyrus had a baby, it would be Ann Coulter.” After all, Coulter has been called[7]Twiggy with Tourette’s” and “the Miley Cyrus of political commentary.”

According to Coulter, “Cruz has flipped to Trump’s side on every important political issue of this campaign.” She asserts that Cruz favored “Legalizing illegal aliens” and “now is against it.” In the non-Orwellian universe, Cruz has always opposed amnesty and he courageously introduced a “poison pill” amendment to prevent legalization of illegal aliens. One of Coulter’s citations actually proves that point.

Coulter also claims Cruz opposed a wall before he was for it, but her citation does not support her conclusion. Cruz has always favored a wall.[8]

Still, Coulter lies, claiming Cruz has changed all of these positions “since being a senator – most of them he’s flipped on only in the last year.” But Cruz has not flipped. Cruz has been consistent.

2 + 2 = 5

Don’t believe your lying eyes. That’s the message from Coulter and that’s the message from Trump.

Coulter has changed Orwell’s formulation – “whatever the Party holds to be the truth, is truth” – to “whatever Ann and The Donald hold to be truth, is truth.” With this crucial corollary, “especially if it is not.”

Coulter offered a series of alleged lies by the Cruz camp. But every alleged lie about Trump really is true! [See hyperlinks for truth!]

Coulter spent considerable time (six paragraphs) defending Trump’s irrefutable pro-abortion record, actually claiming that he is now “fully pro-life.” Coulter avers, “But to claim Trump is pro-choice today – present tense – is what’s known as a ‘lie.’”

Coulter’s whopper is obviously so!

Coulter’s Claims

Coulter devoted another four paragraphs to Trump’s desire for universal health care, claiming it isn’t what we all know it is. Trump wants to replace Obamacare with Trumpcare, but Coulter calls this an “insane lie” by “Cruz and his cult-like followers.”

Typically Orwellian, in Coulter’s world, Trump’s opponents are somehow not just wrong, but either evil or crazy. (Coulter has applied that very dichotomy – evil or crazy – to the Left for two decades!)

Coulter devoted a lengthy paragraph to defending an assault by “Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.” Coulter’s characterization of the event: “criminal battery for brushing past a female reporter.” Actually, it is misdemeanor battery for intentionally grabbing Michelle Fields’ arm and jerking her backward.[14] Coulter denies the video proof and absurdly compares it to Clinton apologists who claimed Clinton “did not commit perjury when he denied having ‘sexual relations’ with Monica Lewinsky.”

Two additional paragraphs addressed Coulter’s criticism of Trump for his Heidi Cruz retweet. Coulter affirmed her slavish devotion to Trump, despite calling him “mental.”[15] If Coulter supports a “mental” Trump, what does that say about Coulter?

Why would Coulter tell such big and small lies? Because she believes that “Trump is the only presidential candidate in my lifetime who will build a wall, deport illegals and pause the importation of Muslims.”

The problem, for those who are familiar with Trump’s views, is that Trump actually favors amnesty[16] and wants a “big, fat beautiful door right in that wall” to allow the immediate return of those illegals that he deports. In fact, Trump is the one candidate who won’t do what Coulter wants done![17]

Ann Coulter = Leni Riefenstahl

Coulter has often been accurately compared to Leni Riefenstahl,[18] the infamous Nazi film propagandist. She really is a propagandist par excellence. With her razor-sharp mind, quick wit, and extensive vocabulary, Coulter is adept at the manipulation of truth and people. (However, Coulter is sadly lacking in wisdom and honesty.)

On radio and talk shows, Coulter made the audacious claim that the Great Depression was part of “the most prosperous period in American history.”[19] No one challenged her on this. Everyone accepted her claim as true. Coulter said it, therefore 2 + 2 = 5.

For this reason[20] (and others),[21] a growing number of conservatives and Christians[22] no longer trust Coulter.[23]

Donald Trump is a libertine liberal masquerading as a conservative.[24] Coulter, who once championed constitutional and cultural conservatism, now knowingly embraces the vulgar and bullying nature of Trump’s candidacy,[25] proving that she is no better than Trump.[26]
