.@AnnCoulter = Bernie Sanders

What can arch-conservative Ann Coulter and Bolshevik Bernie Sanders possibly have in common? Surprisingly, a great deal.

Ann Coulter and Bernie Sanders are far closer than one would think in temperament, disposition, and ideology.

Both are New England elites who think that they alone have all the answers.

They would both force their own will upon others.

Both would weaponize the Deep State to their own ends.

Neither forgives nor repents.

Both are anti-Semitic.

Both are obsessed with Identity Politics, but from different perspectives. While Sander’s version is steeped in class warfare, Coulter’s viewpoint is distinctly WASP Supremacy.

Sanders claimed, “Italians are gangsters, Jews are greedy, Irish are drunk and blacks smell.”

Here is Coulter version:

Though one is an avowed Socialist and the other purportedly champions the free market, Coulter is willing to vote for a Socialist in order to get her Wall for the express purpose of preventing America from becoming Socialist.

This is called cognitive dissonance, or, in Orwell’s vernacular, Doublethink.

Coulter told Bill Maher (video) and Margaret Hoover (video) that she would vote for Sanders. It almost seems as if Coulter is a Socialist (or, at least, a Statist) at heart.

Notice, Coulter doesn’t “care about the rest of the socialist stuff.” But it is the “socialist stuff” which would complete Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America into something real Americans do not want. All that “socialist stuff” would permanently solidify the Deep State and destroy what remains of the constitutional structure of our government and the Judeo-Christian ethos of our culture.

Like Sanders and many far-left activists, Coulter has repeatedly called for a wealth tax – a pernicious tax which confiscates wealth and inevitably diminishes the health of a nation’s economy (more on that below).

Coulter has even mirrored many of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s views.

And they call Bernie crazy! Trump was right to label Coulter a #WackyNutJob!

Like a true Socialist, Coulter believes in, operates from, and lives her life in accordance with the Marxist Maxim: The end justifies the means.

We see this exhibited throughout her career, from lying on her resume, to betraying clients, to attempts to subvert the American election process. Coulter will do and say whatever she has to do in order to accomplish her goals. The atheistic “will to power” is strong in this one.

Coulter is Radically Wrong About Radical Sanders!

In her weekly column (BERNIE IS STILL TRUMP’S NIGHTMARE, 3/4/20), Coulter made some utterly ludicrous claims (emphasis added).

“Bernie Sanders is [Trump’s] greatest nightmare.”

Actually, no. Even Democrats fear his fatal flaws with the American electorate, hence the Left’s coalescence around Biden.

“True, the media, the donors and the Democratic Party are convinced that Sanders is a sure loser – just as, four years ago, Fox News, the donors and the Republican Party knew that Trump was a sure loser.”

There is simply no reasonable comparison between the two campaigns or candidates, as addressed below.

“What made both Trump and Sanders unique in their respective primaries was their voluble opposition to Wall Street, war and immigration. I’m beginning to suspect that Americans hate Wall Street, hate war and hate mass, low-wage immigration.”

Actually, Trump was the pro-America candidate; Sanders the anti-America one.

“Recall that, in 2016, Trump and Sanders were the only presidential candidates opposed to the mass importation of low-wage workers immiserating our working class.”

Wrong. Ted Cruz and others also opposed illegal immigration.

“Sadly, they both moved left on the issue at about the same time: Bernie when he went from being a Socialist to a Democrat, and Trump when he went from the campaign to the White House.”

Wrong. Trump has made considerable, quantifiable progress on reversing the tide of illegal immigration (to be addressed in future columns).

“Then Trump became president, and the only people working overtime on his war stance became his own voters, constantly on edge that he’s about to start a war with Syria or Iran.”

Wrong. Trump has been the most anti-war president in generations.

“Maybe a Fidel-admiring revolutionary was never the best champion of even the most popular ideas – just as a vulgar reality TV star wasn’t. Maybe Bernie is dead. But the universal popularity of hating Wall Street, war and immigration will never die.”

Who on the Right hates Wall Street? Besides Ann, of course. Coulter’s is becoming a rabid Leftist.

“It could be that a ‘safe’ choice is all the Democrats need. But I think Trump just dodged a bullet.”

According to Coulter, “Trump dodged a bullet” with Sanders delegate failure on Super Tuesday. Actually, No.

Coulter supplemented her column with an interview with Breitbart News. Coulter claimed (emphasis added):

“[Bernie Sanders] really would have helped himself if he had not flipped on immigration.”

Sanders didn’t crash and burn over immigration! The Left loves open borders. No, his anti-Semitism and defense of totalitarian regimes, such as Cuba, did him in.

Coulter’s Tyrannical Wealth Tax

In her Breitbart News interview, Coulter warned (emphasis added):

“The one saving grace from this – because I’m just about to the point of writing my final book Screw It, We’re Doomed – at which point all there really is left for us to is take revenge on the people who have wrecked our country. And we’re getting the initial taste of it right now.”

How would Coulter take revenge (apart from using her oft-repeated firing squad scenario)?

Coulter has repeatedly proposed an unconstitutional wealth tax to target, specifically, the Koch Brothers. That’s right, Coulter would politicize and weaponize the IRS and specific people she does not like.

According to Coulter (emphasis added):

“Hispanics are voting for Bernie, not because of immigration, he’s had the toughest position on immigration, just like they voted in Venezuela, they want socialism. When the country’s over, I’m volunteering to go work for Sanders and AOC to make sure we have a really strict wealth tax. I want to clean out the Chamber of Commerce-types, I want to bankrupt the Koch brothers.

Coulter’s wacky proposal, reminiscent of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other far-left radicals, is blatantly unconstitutional, tyrannical, and something Bolshevik Bernie would love. Moreover, Trump – not Sanders – has the toughest position on immigration.

As noted by American Thinker (emphasis added):

“The Sixteenth Amendment of 1913 gave the federal government an additional right to tax income, and only income.”

“That is because the Constitution includes caveats as to how direct taxes can be applied, most notably in Article I, Section 9, Clause 4, which reads, ‘No Capitation or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration hereinbefore directed to be taken.'”

“A direct tax on assets held without any ‘transmission’ of property having taken place is the arbitrary confiscation of property by a federal government which clearly has no right enumerated in the Constitution to do so.”

One economist put it to me this way:

“It’s especially destructive and immoral. Morally It’s just plain old theft, practically discourages production and encourages hiding wealth. It’s safer to hide it than invest it with a wealth tax.”

#BolshevikBernie could learn a thing or two from Coulter about really going Marxist.

Sanders is Nothing Like Trump

American Thinker provided an excellent analysis debunking the myth that Sanders and Trump are comparable “populist” leaders.

He writes (emphasis added):

“While Trump’s early performance in 2016 signified crossover appeal for the Republican ticket, Bernie has shown no crossover appeal at all.

Bernie is unappealing in critical swing states because he’s openly miles to the left of moderate Democrats and independent voters, and he’s generally unappealing to most Americans because he’s an ideological lunatic whose entire adult life has been devoted to thinking and talking about the magnificence of socialism.”

“His promise to pay for it consists of higher income taxes and an unconstitutional wealth tax to finance the unfathomable amount of debt his proposals demand.”

“And far from being out of touch with the American people, Trump seemed to have his finger firmly on the nation’s pulse.”

“[Trump] shared many other conservative positions with them, too, such as unequivocally declaring himself to be pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-military, and in favor of tax cuts. … He ran on his longstanding opposition to the Iraq War, protectionist trade policies to shield domestic manufacturing jobs from outsourcing (which earned him strong union support), relative protection of federal entitlement programs, and an unmistakable lack of emphasis on reductions to federal spending.”

Bernie Sanders is a revolutionary whose ideas are radically socialistic and entirely un-American, and he doesn’t seem to like this country much, either. Trump, on the other hand, is not on the political fringe, and there’s certainly nothing un-American about him. His very visage hearkens back to the Reagan era, which many Americans fondly look back upon as a time of patriotic prosperity, where America waged and won a war against the ideology to which Bernie Sanders is devoted.”

Ann Ocasio-Coulter = Bernie Sanders

So much of what Coulter says about Sanders is wrong, perhaps because she actually agrees with so much of his ideological and programmatic perspectives.

.@AnnCoulter = MiniMikeBloomberg

What do mega-billionaire Mike Bloomberg and multi-millionaire Ann Coulter have in common? Far too much.

Both are affluent and privileged New York elites who believe they are superior to the rest of us. Both abuse their wealth, power, and affluence to force their will and their ideologies on others.

In unfiltered moments of candor, each has revealed a failure to identify with Middle America and those whom they deem beneath them.

Their words and their tweets betray them.

Both get rattled when confronted with the reality they cannot deny. Coulter has fled from people who could effectively refute her arguments and she eschews callers calling in to talk shows she is on. Bloomberg hates being challenged and, for most of his candidacy, avoided interviews.

Bloomberg wants to subvert the Constitution in a number of ways, including gun confiscation, a abridgment of Americans second amendment rights.

Coulter wants Trump to do a series of unconstitutional Executive Orders like Obama did. Trump wisely chose patience and discretion.

Both Coulter and Bloomberg are elites who want to tell everyone else what to do while being exempt from their own standards. Both are bullies, trying to force others to yield to their will. They are filled with hubris and devoid of compassion.

Bloomberg has been all over the political map, going from Democrat to Republican to Independent and back to Democrat.

Coulter has a similarly unstable ideological history: From paleo-conservative to neo-conservative to Alt-Right; a former Tea Partier who now attacks the Tea Party; and a former pro-lifer to one hostile to the pro-life movement.

Remarkably, Coulter has denounced every single presidential candidate she once endorsed for over the past two decades. She even has harsh words for Ronald Reagan, whom she once idolized.

Coulter devoted a whole column (2/12/20) to defending Bloomberg’s racist remarks (which strangely mirror Coulter’s) under the guise of defending Bloomberg’s anti-crime policies.

Coulter’s opening paragraph (emphasis added):

Idiot conservatives were doing the idiot thing this week, screaming “racism!” in response to an old tape of former Mayor Michael Bloomberg defending stop-and-frisk, one of the policies that drove New York City murder rates down to Mayberry levels. They weren’t being ironic.

Bloomberg’s policy (stop-and-frisk) was not racist; his words and beliefs were.

Here’s what Bloomberg said (emphasis added):

Ninety-five percent of murders, murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops.”

Coulter mirrors Bloomberg!

Similarly, just as every American hero looks like a conservative to Coulter, all terrorists look alike. According to Coulter, “they all look identical!” She would use “a paint chip for their skin color” to determine their guilt or innocence. In reading and listening to her commentary on terrorist profiling, it’s as if Coulter knows of only two paint chips: white and non-white.

Coulter’s obsession with racial profiling began in mid-September, 2001. By March of the following year, she had developed her bizarre, viscerally-offensive, and self-evidently false paint chip theory. Paint chips to profile? Coulter’s own unique contribution to racial demagoguery – paint chips – exceeds even South Africa’s apartheid which incorporated a complex system of racial categories.

(See Chapter 5: Paint Chip Profiling in Never Trust Ann Coulter – at ANY Age.)

In the end, Bloomberg crashed and burned. Coulter has suffered the same fate at the hands of President Trump.

Americans were relieved when Bloomberg ended his campaign, with many marking themselves save from Bloomberg ads.

Similarly, many conservatives want to mark themselves safe from Coulter’s commentary.

@AnnCoulter Ends 2019 with Putrid Polemic

Although Ann Coulter wrote some powerful and praiseworthy columns in 2019, she ended the year publishing a putrid polemic, thus exposing her dark heart.

It was ugly!

While denouncing the evils of Hollywood’s portrayal of America, Coulter’s column was, in large measure – evil.

Much of what Coulter wrote about Hollywood scripts was accurate, but, she went out of her way to lambaste a particular person – Celine Robinson – vilifying both her ideology and her looks, and treating her as representative of all lesbians, Jews, and feminists.

What prompted this column by Coulter? Robinson had enraged Coulter with this tweet:

Coulter, creatively, in paragraph after paragraph, made it clear that in her eyes, this “half French, queer, Jewish feminist” is ugly and the antithesis of the “hot actors and actresses” who play the characters in her scripts. (Coulter was uncharitable, to say the least!)

Indeed, these hot actresses are “the molecular opposite of” Robinson and Robinson’s photo alone is proof that it is “Opposites Day” every day in Hollywood. (Coulter adroitly included a link to a tweet from 2016 which contained a photo of her nemesis and victim.)

Coulter used the phrase “queer, Jewish feminist” five times, notably dismissing as inconsequential the “half French” portion of Robinson’s personal self-identity. (I gather that Freedom Fries have long passed their expiration date.)

The bulk of the remainder of Coulter’s column was devoted to Third World sodomy and pedophilia, in graphic terms. She seemed to delight in being outrageous.

(Coulter is known for being somewhat tardy at speaking engagements and in posting her columns. On this occasion, she posted this column one day early, as if she couldn’t wait for others to see it.)

In the early weeks of 2020, Coulter continued with her attacks on the looks of those with whom she disagrees. Looksism is extremely important to her: She wants to be perceived as beautiful and hot while denigrating her foes as being not.

Here’s one example:

Here are a few responses:

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

@AnnCoulter at Her Best

Recently, Ann Coulter celebrated her 58th birthday. Over the years, I have been very critical of Ann, and rightly so, but here I want to acknowledge her strengths and offer you a sampling of the best of her commentary.

Many have remarked upon Ann’s wit and charm (neither of which are necessarily indicators of morality in and of themselves). She is telegenic and knows how to court her audiences in person and on-air.

Ann has written 13 books (of varying quality), published close to 2,000 columns, given tens of thousands of interviews, and was once a favorite (and increasingly controversial) public speaker.

Following are selections from some of Ann’s best columns for your enjoyment and edification.

October 2014 – Ebola Crisis

Ann’s Ebola column was priceless.[1] Factual, well-reasoned, incisive, witty, non-polemical. (I wouldn’t change a word.)

Ann also wrote a literary gem[2] which I would like to share with you.[3]

Entitled “Your ‘to do’ list to save America,” Ann addressed the upcoming elections with insight, wit, and vigor. I thoroughly enjoyed her literary style (while disagreeing with a few of her points). It was well written and engaging, with a good overall structure, and it adroitly expressed her intended message with flair. Forceful, yet restrained.

Ann opened with the need to “swing the Senate to Republican control,” then, in her second paragraph, wrote my favorite sentence in this column:

“Turn that into a mnemonic, sew it on needlepoint pillows, include it in your wedding vows, right-wingers.” Beautiful imagery, quaint, to the point, with a cascading effect which lends a subtle sense of mounting urgency.

March 2017 – Illegals Rape Children

In perhaps her best column of 2017, Ann exquisitely expressed the dangers of political correctness, identity politics, and the negative impact of open borders on America. The tragic rape of a 14-year-old girl – and its emotional and political fallout – deeply touched Ann’s heart, largely in part because it was an illegal raping an American teenager.

May 2017 – Manchester Concert Terrorist Attack

In a poignant column published shortly after the Manchester concert terrorist attack in May, 2017, Ann’s satirically titled column – “Rome Burns – Nero Worries About Pyrophobia” – cut to the heart of the matter. It is, perhaps, her second-best column of 2017.

This was one of Ann’s two best columns of 2017, written with deep passion and conviction about an issue dear to her heart.

June 2017 – Alexandria Shooting

Ann highlighted the hypocrisy and partisan political agenda of the Fake News Media in the wake of an assassination attempt by a Leftist against a group of Republican political leaders! (Trump Derangement Syndrome prevails on the Left. Though, of late, Coulter has been captured by its allure.)

August 2017 – Statue of Liberty

Ann spotlighted the absurdity of the Left’s immigration talking points and their looking to a poem written by Emma Lazarus which is on the Statue of Liberty donated to America by France instead of looking to what is written in our American Constitution.

September 2017 – Immigration Moratorium

Ann showcased the lunacy of current immigration policy and the failure of politicians to protect the American people from dangers both foreign and domestic.

October 2017 – Snarky Media

Apparently without any self-reflection at all, Ann accurately observed the nature of the Fake News Media and its failure to objectively report the facts on the great issues of our day.

November 2017 – Sexual Harassment

Ann exposed the sham nature of the #MeToo movement and its double standards when reporting on liberal vs. conservative villains.

January 2018 – Being an American

Ann drew a line in the sand between those who are American patriots and those who are self-proclaimed citizens of the world.

March 2018 – Walls Work

Through the first two years of the Trump presidency, the Left’s primary talking point regarding securing our border is that nothing can be done about the influx of illegal aliens and that walls do not work. Ann’s counterargument refuted their nonsense.

March 2018 – White Privilege

Ann mocked the Identity Politics Left, which has championed the nonsensical White Privilege narrative for perhaps a decade or more. (Of course, Coulter has her own equally nonsensical WASP Privilege narrative.)

June 2018 – End Immigration[4]

In denouncing the open borders movement, Ann eloquently expressed how unlimited immigration is transforming America from top to bottom.

June 2018 – Genocidal Rwandan Refugees

Ann contrasted absorbing alleged refugees from extremely dysfunctional countries who bring with them the violent antisocial aspects of their homelands to America with the Left’s obsession over microaggressions in American culture.

The only culture the Left condemns is America’s!

July 2018 – SCOTUS Panic

Because the ideas of the Left are anathema to most Americans, the Left has used the courts to implement its agenda which is contrary to the will of the people. Ann pointed out why the Left is so incensed over Supreme Court and lower court nominations, employing scorched-earth politics and ad hominen rhetoric against those it deems a threat to its Progressive agenda.

October 2018 – Sanctuary Cities

Ann explained why she calls sanctuary cities the new Jim Crow.

January 2019 – Leftist Anti-Wall Talking Points Walled Off from Reality

Ann cogently and humorously explained why walls work, why they can and should be built, and why the Left’s preferred solutions are ineffective.

 May 2019 – #BuildTheWall

Though I disagree with Ann’s continued attacks against Trump over immigration and the wall, Ann did a good job rhetorically of conveying her viewpoint.

August 2019 – Democrats Should be on a Terrorist Watch List

Ann hoisted the Left on its own petard, using its own standards, to declare that “every Democratic presidential candidate should be on a terrorist watch list right now.”

[2]               Ann Coulter, “Your ‘to do’ list to save America,” 9/17/14.

[3]               While I disagree with some of her conclusions, her presentation was excellent. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read, except for the elimination rhetoric in the very last phrase. (Some habits die hard.) (I would also have chosen words other than “insane” and “idiots,” though, perhaps I am getting too picky.) But for a nuts-and-bolts let’s-get-down-to-the-details election analysis, it was top notch, and, again, an enjoyable read. Consider it an unpolished diamond.

[4]               Ann correctly diagnosed the rationale and motivating factors behind the open-borders movement and its false narratives against those who seek to preserve national sovereignty and American culture.

Ann Coulter Channels Her Inner @AOC

An astonishing thing happened following the 2018 election: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a freshmen congressman from New York, and Ann Hart Coulter, a veteran opinion writer also from New York, mirrored one another in outrageousness, idiocy, policies, and sheer silliness.

I was not alone in seeing the obvious equation: Ann Hart Coulter = Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Dana Perino observed that “AOC is the intellectual leader of the Left.”[1] Coulter has long been regarded as (or, more importantly, regards herself as) an intellectual leader on the Right.

David Wayne tweeted: “AOC is just viewed as the Left’s Ann Coulter.” John Griner tweeted to Coulter: “U are getting as annoying as AOC.”

Speaking of AOC, talk show host Derek Hunter, a friend of AHC, said that AOC’s greatest fault is that “she thinks she knows everything.” The exact same thing could be said of Coulter!

Utterly hilarious Cortez memes populate social media very single day. They are priceless. Her gaffes are legendary … and proving a major liability for the Democrat Party. Similar memes increasingly target Coulter, directly correlating the two.

With her late-onset Trump Derangement Syndrome and full throttle embrace of the #NeverTrump movement, Coulter has become a laughingstock on both the Left and the Right.

AOC and AHC jokes are quickly replacing blonde jokes!

The parallels between, and the parodies of, these two provocateurs proliferate on both social media and in news broadcasts and entertainment.

One adventurous soul even suggested that AHC and AOC run on one ticket for president in 2020.

In almost simultaneously-occurring controversies, AHC and AOC both claimed to be in charge!

AOC simply said, “I’m the boss” while AHC declared, “I’m president of the Trump re-election campaign.”

Both AHC and AOC think they know everything even as they make flabbergasting blunders, and yet they think (or want to think) that they are in charge.

AOC contends: “I think that there’s a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right.” Tucker Carlson calls AOC a “screechy moron,” yet has only high praise for AHC, despite her many, notorious gaffes.

Both AHC and AOC have been featured in comic books. Coulter was 47 years old when her first comic book debuted; AOC was 29 years old. Another Coulter comic book was published in 2017.

Both AHC and AOC are prone to using apocalyptic language to incite their base. (Coulter has been doing this for almost 20 years. Coulter said the world would end if Gore was elected in 2000! And she frequently speaks of impending doom for America and the world if her policies are not put into place.)

Both AHC and AOC have totalitarian tendencies. AOC declares “I’m the boss” and intends to place every aspect of American life under the control of a centralized Progressive (statist) government. Meanwhile, AHC, for over two decades has sought to shape and control the outcome of local, state, and national elections by whatever means necessary.

Coulter has frequently spoken of the “benefits of local fascism,” called for suppression of liberal speech, sought to rescind the 19th Amendment (giving women the right to vote), and called for poll taxes and literacy tests for voting.

Ever the control freak, Coulter wants to control the mechanisms and policies of government. She has often joked (but, seriously, folks!) about using Tinder to determine who can immigrate to America.

AHC, like AOC, thinks that she is – or should be – the boss!

Both are incredibly obsessed with identity politics!

(The hyperlinks in the above chart are active in the free PDF book, Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged.)

AHC differs from AOC in that she is more professional, polished, and nuanced that AOC (except when she is not).

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis in this holistic exposé of how and why Coulter has become such a warped human being.

Joker addresses the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, familial, sexual, and spiritual dimensions which have shaped the Ann Coulter that we know today and it highlights both the positives and the negatives of Coulter’s life and career.

Ann’s brokenness provides an object lesson for all of us and, hopefully, this book will act as an intervention to help Ann face her deep brokenness and motivate her to seek healing and restoration.

What Ann Coulter Gets Right – and Wrong – in Resistance is Futile!

Coulter’s Resistance Is Futile has just been released. Here are a few observations.

What Coulter gets right – and wrong – in her book

What Coulter Gets Right

This quote encapsulates what is right in Coulter’s book:

“Nothing the Russians ever dreamed of could compare to what the Resistance is doing to democracy, obliterating the will of Trump voters, who wanted him to get to work on urgent problems.”

“It is nothing less than a coup.”

Trump Derangement Syndrome grows daily and hourly, exposing every segment of the Progressive movement for what it is, from politics, to academia, to Hollywood, and the – now blatantly out in the open – #FakeNewsMedia.

Other books have recently (or will soon be) released which tell the very same story.

What Coulter Gets Wrong

Coulter ludicrously contends that the Left hates Donald Trump because he is “icky” – that he is a departure from the debonair and erudite Barack Obama. This is hogwash. If Trump pursued Progressive policies, they would love him.

Far from being squeamish about “icky,” the Left embraces it. Witness Harvey Weinstein, Kathy Griffin, so many of the presenters and awardees at Hollywood events, the Ann Coulter Roast, etc. Remember Michelle Wolf at the National Correspondents Dinner? Truly icky!

Ickiness is part of the Left’s DNA. They merely use charges of ickiness to attack Trump and try to peel off some portion of Middle American support for him.

Icky does not matter to the Left. It didn’t in the 1960s and it doesn’t now. The Left was enthralled with the Clinton presidency. Even now, they want Hillary back. (Ick!)

Throughout her media career, Coulter has conflated style with substance (often preferring the former to the latter) and she continues to do so to this day.

What the Left hates about Trump is his devotion to America, his erasure of the Obama legacy, his opposition to the Progressive agenda and identity politics, and his Making America Great Again.

But the Left can’t say that, so, instead, it says, “Ick!”

Trump stands up for America, not against her. (That is what the Left considers the real “Ick!”)

Separated at Birth II: Joy Reid & Ann Coulter – Christian Edition

Despite their personal enmity and political differences, Joy Reid and Ann Coulter are remarkably alike in their polemical nature and viewpoints in certain areas: anti-Mexican, anti-Semitic, death threats, hate speech, rape fantasies, identity politics, and even misogyny. To that, we can add hostility toward Christians.

Separated at Birth 2

Joy Reid regards evangelical beliefs as fiction, fantasy. She decries mainstream Christianity as opportunistic and apathetic toward those in need. As noted in Christian Post, “Joy Reid’s declaration against faith and family are part and parcel of a greater spiritual movement among the liberal elite to destroy both faith in God and the family.” Indeed, Reid regards “Church … family … police … military … the national anthem” as anachronistic and old-fashioned, things to be forgotten. Reid even attacked Sarah Palin for displaying a Christmas tree – on Christmas!

Ann Coulter has opposed Christians for fully two decades (while claiming to be a Christian!) Coulter has repeatedly condemned Christian missionaries for daring to fulfill the Great Commission in foreign lands, aiding those who are poor, sick, and in need. She calls Christians heeding their consciences “fake Christians” and attacks Christians for being godly. Further, Coulter demands that Christian refugees from genocide overseas be martyred. Moreover, Coulter’s WASP worldview compels her to continually denigrate Catholics.

In many ways, Joy Reid and Ann Coulter are twins. Both are openly hostile to Christianity while one – Ann Coulter – actually claims to be a Christian. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, revealing the truth.
