Coulter – Face of the Alt-Right

Donald Trump’s chief propagandist and cheerleader, Ann Coulter, is the face of the alt-Right.

Face of the alt-Right

Coulter has been a prominent member of the alt-Right community for decades. Over the past two years, Coulter’s beliefs and character have been exposed as never before. This is particularly problematic given her position as advisor to and promoter of the GOP presidential nominee. Her current book, In Trump We Trust, is a fawning tribute to failing candidate.

The alt-Right, according to Jonah Goldberg, “want[s] to replace the conservative movement.” That is Coulter’s goal, too: Destroy and replace.[1] Following are the core beliefs and attitudes of the alt-Right movement as exemplified by Coulter.

Anti-Semitic

Coulter’s anti-Semitic roots go back to the early 1990s           [2] when she worked for, consecutively, two Jewish-run law firms in New York City. Her anti-Semitism exploded[3] last year[4] during the presidential debates and recently re-emerged[5] to the point[6] where a long-time friend tweeted, “I’m ashamed ever to have known you.”[7]

Anti-Catholic

Once raised Catholic,[8] Coulter now expresses deep animosity toward Catholics.[9] She calls them “moral show-offs” and “fake Christians.” [10]Her anti-Catholic sentiments have only grown worse[11] as she seeks to create a New Know-Nothing Party.[12]

Nativist

Coulter’s New Know-Nothing Party is modeled after the mid-19th century version, complete with its America First, anti-immigrant rhetoric and platform. Her nativism runs deep[13] as she hates all immigrants[14] and even hates Christian missionaries[15] for going on overseas mission trips to save lives.

Coulter even trashed native-born Gov. Nikki Haley,[16] calling her an “ignorant immigrant.” Haley’s roots weren’t pure enough, unlike Coulter’s which trace back to the Puritans.[17]

Racist

Race figures prominently in Coulter’s worldview[18] and remarkably so. Yet, she remains very confused in her racial constructions,[19] regards diversity as white,[20] seeks a restoration of a white WASP nation,[21] and argues that she and Trump deserve a “racism credit”[22] for seeking to help blacks even as she advocates for her own (white) racial grievance industry.[23]

Make America White Again

Neo-Confederate

To that end, Coulter adopts and furthers neo-Confederate ideas,[24] continually defends the Confederacy and Confederate flag, and has actually confused the Confederate and American flags![25]

Coulter’s (and Trump’s) America is one where the elite few (like Coulter and Trump) would determine the nature of our national identity[26] at the expense of individual liberty,[27] the Constitution,[28] and our founding ideals.[29]

If one is truly America first, then one must be #NeverTrump!

[A new book, #NeverTrump: Coulter’s Alt-Right Utopia, examines the origins, worldview, and impact of the Alt-Right movement. It is now available on Amazon at http://amzn.to/2fzA9Mr.]

Coulter’s ISIS Denial

Are you worried about an attack from ISIS in America? I’m not.”

Coulter’s ISIS Denial

Ann Coulter spoke those words on August 22, 2016.[1] Long after San Bernardino and Orlando. Long after Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, and Nice.

According to FBI counterterrorism expert Dr. Sebastian Gorka, there have been 109 ISIS attacks in America in the last two years.[2]

Moreover, Coulter argues that domestic terrorist attacks by ISIS are “an immigration problem.”

Coulter has repeatedly denied (again,[3] and again,[4] and again,[5] and again,[6] and again,[7] and again,[8] and again,[9] and again[10]) the threat that ISIS poses to Americans in America.

Here are a few Coulter gems: “I don’t even care about ISIS!” “ISIS is not at our doorstep.” “Forget the terrorism.”

Forgetting the terrorism, Coulter blithely charges ahead with her anti-immigration agenda and rejects every effort to deal with those terrorists and would-be terrorists who are already here!

If Coulter’s entire immigration plan was put into effect, it would not prevent terrorist attacks from jihadists or radicalized Americans who are already here.

A moratorium on all immigration – which is her favorite proposal – would do absolutely nothing to address the jihadist threat currently entrenched in America. Under Coulter’s plan, American citizens who have lived in America for decades and been radicalized to jihad would remain in America.

As for the 9/11 hijackers, guess how many were immigrants? None! One entered the U.S. on a student visa, the remainder on tourist or business visas.

Emulating Obama, who dismisses the ISIS threat and refuses to even name Islamic terrorism, Coulter dismisses the ISIS threat and refuses to acknowledge its existence in the heartland of America.

Ludicrously, Coulter writes: “If your elected representative is talking to you about ISIS, he’s planning to outsource your job and move Syrian refugees into your neighborhood.”

Coulter is acting as a Quisling isolationist.

Wake up, Ann Coulter!

Mocking Spastic Retards is OK

Ann Coulter just made a fool of herself.[1] Again.[2]

Mocking Spastic Retards is OK

This time Coulter defended Donald Trump’s mocking of a disabled journalist, using four rather obtuse and irrational arguments: 1) that Trump was doing “full-on spastic retard” (which is perfectly acceptable in her eyes) and not mocking a “journalist with disabilities,” 2) that the disabled journalist deserved to be mocked, 3) what we plainly see on video is not really what we see, and 4) we have been brainwashed into instantly believing everything bad the media says about Trump.

Coulter made these four arguments on the Opie & Jimmy Show (8/22/16).

Mocking Spastic Retards is OK

First, Coulter denied the proof that was literally before her eyes, claiming that Trump’s “spastic retard” performance “was not an exaggeration” of the reporter’s disability. She said, “[Trump] was doing full on retard. That’s not what this guy is. … He’s doing spastic retard.”

CqidSnsXgAA92Bp.jpg large

Yes, Coulter’s defense of Trump for mocking a disabled reporter is that he was really just mocking a generic retarded person. Moreover, Coulter insists[3] that calling people retarded and mocking them thusly is perfectly acceptable behavior.[4] Coulter is wont to use the R-word without hesitation.

The Disabled Journalist Deserved Being Mocked

But, Coulter conceded, if Trump were mocking a reporter for his disability, then the reporter deserved it. (Yes, blame the victim, not the victimizer.)

Coulter argued, “He’s not making fun of a guy’s disability but if he were, he deserves it.” Why did the disabled journalist “deserve” to be mocked with a “full-on spastic retard” routine? Because he lied about Trump.

Readers may recall that Coulter also sided with the victimizer and attacked the victim[5] in a well-reported case of physical assault by Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, on reporter Michelle Fields. Coulter went so far as to ridicule Fields by jokingly claiming that she (Coulter) had been gang-raped.[6]

Don’t Believe Your Lying Eyes

Again, while watching he video of Trump’s actions – in slow motion and freeze-framed – Coulter preposterously repeated, “That hand is not bent.”

(Recall the absurdity and audacity of other propagandistic pronouncements: ISIS is on the run, America has never been safer, the border is secure. They demonstrate that propagandists like Coulter[7] have no shame.[8])

George Orwell accurately portrayed how propagandists operate.[9]

Don’t believe your lying eyes! Believe what I tell you that you are seeing! (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Those aren’t the droids you’re looking for.)

Brainwashed by the Media

Having failed to convince her hosts that Trump was not mocking the journalist and that they shouldn’t believe their own eyes, Coulter then blamed the co-hosts for disagreeing with her. (Remember, she first blamed the journalist and then the media and now the co-hosts – for being duped by the media. But, remember, Trump is innocent, innocent, innocent.)

Likening the mainstream media in America to Pravda, Coulter claimed that the American people have become so brainwashed that they immediately succumb to whatever the particular lie of the moment might be. Coulter asserted that the co-hosts had become so brainwashed by media bias that they were incapable of accurately interpreting the very clear video that they were viewing.

Coulter’s message: You can’t think for yourself. Let me tell you what you should believe.

But, since we can’t trust Coulter,[10] why should we trust Trump?

Coulter’s Perfect Presidential Candidate

Having previously called Mitt Romney the “perfect candidate” for both the 2012 and 2016 election cycles, now propagandist Ann Coulter declares Donald Trump to be “the perfect presidential candidate.”

Coulter’s Perfect Presidential Candidate

In an astonishing interview on the Opie & Jimmy Show (8/22/16), Coulter exclaimed:

“I would not have sat back in a laboratory and designed Donald Trump as my perfect presidential candidate but now that’s it’s happened, I realize that ‘Oh my Gosh, he is the perfect presidential candidate.’”

What makes Trump her perfect candidate? Here are some of the traits she concludes are necessary for a perfect candidate: “It’s not like we looked around the country and said, ‘We need a boorish, coarse reality TV star. I wanna make that man president.’” Her book describes Trump as “a tasteless, publicity‐seeking, coarse, billionaire, reality TV star.”

But Coulter concludes that those negatives are actually positives. Coulter claims, “It turns out, that is exactly what we needed.”

Why? Because Trump is coarse enough and boorish enough to withstand the media onslaught against him. In her mind, his tasteless ego is like the protective scales of a dragon.

As it turns out, narcissism (something Coulter is acquainted with) is good. Coulter concludes: “If it takes a narcissist to do that, we need more narcissists running for public office.” (Coulter redefines narcissist as “a self‐confident alpha male.”)

Coulter claimed, on the Opie & Jimmy Show, that Trump’s “problems are purely stylistic. Hillary’s are, she’s a corrupt liar who will only serve Wall Street.” (Hasn’t she heard, so is Trump?)

(I suspect people without character do not value people with character. Perhaps these charlatans only see people with character and integrity as potential rubes.)

Coulter also claimed, “What everyone loves about Trump are his positions,” adding, “It’s 100% Trump’s issues which have propelled him to the top.”

Whoa! Seriously? Trump’s positions change on a daily, if not hourly, basis.

In her book, Coulter claims, “Trump is like a Shakespearean ‘fool’: he seems crass because he speaks the truth.” Even Coulter has admitted that Trump is a fraud and “mental,” so one wonders why she would lie so spectacularly.

Here are a few possibilities: 1) Coulter is used to being a propagandist; 2) Coulter is selling herself and her books; 3) Coulter has staked her reputation and career on a Trump victory; and 4) Coulter views herself and Trump as only saviors of America.

Regardless of the reasons for Coulter’s subterfuge, her “perfect candidate” is the worst possible option of Republicans, for constitutional conservatism, and for America. Of all the GOP candidates, Trump is the only one who could actually lose to Hillary. Coulter’s latest RINO will ensure that Democrats win the White House (and Congress?) this November.

Coulter’s Messianic Complex

From almost the beginning of Donald Trump’s campaign, Ann Coulter has treated him as the Savior of America, and of even the world.[1] She regards him as “America’s savior”[2] “who’s going to save America.”[3]

Coulter’s Messianic Complex

Of Trump, Coulter gushed: “my hero, our Savior, the man who’s going to save my world.”[4] Asked to describe her actual relationship with Trump, Coulter replied, “Blind worship.”

Coulter warns, “America is the most consequential nation on Earth … If America falls, it will be a thousand years of darkness for the entire planet.” A Trump defeat would mean “it is lights out for the entire world for a thousand years!”[5]

In Coulter’s eyes, the source of America’s (and the world’s) salvation is not God but Donald Trump – and Ann Coulter!

Coulter frequently couches her views in terms of God blessing America through Trump – and through Coulter herself since the thesis of her book, Adios, America!, creates and permeates Trump’s immigration and foreign policy.

Headline: “The woman who tells Donald Trump what to think.” Coulter boasts of being the brains behind the Trump campaign. Her idol worship is obvious as she crows, “I’ve been doing nothing but watching Trump on TV. I wish there was a Trump channel where you could just watch him 24 hours a day. I’d never sleep.”

But she is more than an idol worshipper; Coulter is Trump’s consigliere. In Adios, America!, Coulter claims: “I’ve detailed everything he’s saying. He gives the campaign speeches on it. My book is the footnotes.”[6]

On Newsmax Prime, Coulter reiterated a sentiment she has often expressed: “Thank God [Trump] read Adios, America! I feel like one of those insects that give birth and then can go off and die.”

(Does anyone believe Ann is going to go quietly into the night and die having given birth to the Trump Phenomenon?)

As reported in The Times: “For his sake, she says, she has been prepared to wreck her career. While he campaigned in the primaries, she followed him from state to state, appearing on local talk radio shows. She met with Trump and told him: ‘I’m the only one losing money trying to get you in the White House, you’re going to listen to me.’”

Except, Coulter has sacrificed nothing for either Trump or her country. She loves every moment of being in the limelight, of being one election away from close ties to the White House, of publishing yet another bestselling book, of saving America according to her plan.

Coulter has always seen herself as the ultimate power-broker, whether in local, state, or national elections. Continuing her modus operandi from the 2000,[7] 2004, 2008[8] and 2012[9][10] election cycles, Coulter championed her man and defamed his opponents. Coulter did so this election cycle, supporting Mitt Romney,[11] until Trump appeared on the scene.[12]

Now, Coulter declares Trump the perfect candidate and her current Savior. Therefore, if America’s Savior is Donald Trump it is only because of Coulter, thus, Coulter is also America’s Savior.

Coulter remains seated at the left hand of Trump dispensing the wrath of her Savior.

Coulter Lies About Media Lying About Her and Trump

Who knew? Both Donald Trump and Ann Coulter have the precisely the same identical problem: Neither of them ever say anything wrong and everything the media says about them is a lie.

Media Lies

To continue this propagandistic point she has been making for months, in her latest column (“How the Media Work”) Coulter lies – and lies wholeheartedly – about an incident from 2007. Not only does she lie about the underlying details but also about the factually-correct reporting of the event.

Coulter wrote: “This isn’t taking something ‘out of context’ – it’s a lie. Try quoting the full sentence!”

OK, I will.

Coulter recalls a Good Morning America appearance (6/25/07) in which she said (full quote, emphasis added):

“Oh yeah. I wouldn’t insult gays by comparing them to John Edwards. Now, that would be mean. But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. So I’ve learned my lesson. If I’m gonna say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Coulter’s next words: “I’m not a rhetorician, but I believe this would be called a ‘syllogism,’ or ‘deductive reasoning.’” (Thanks for the patina of journalistic professionalism, Ann.)

Coulter continued: “Or maybe it’s just sarcasm about the media’s rank hypocrisy.”

The truth differs dramatically from Coulter’s imagined fantasy.

The media naturally and accurately reported that Coulter called for John Edwards assassination by a terrorist. According to Coulter, “Hundreds of news outlets repeated this lie.” Except, it wasn’t a lie!

Yet, Coulter calls this a lie, claiming her words were “taken out of context.”

What was the context? What made it a “’syllogism,’ or ‘deductive reasoning?’” Or “sarcasm?”

The context was Coulter comparing what she was saying about Edwards to her own false version of what Maher said about Cheney. The media largely ignored the Maher portion of her full quote because it was a lie. Maher never said what Coulter claimed Maher said.

Here’s what Maher said: “I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact.”

Here’s what Coulter said, “I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

One is propositional, the other hypothetical. One is an expressed desire, the other a stated opinion.

Yet Coulter has the temerity to write:

“Ironically, the media’s rewrite pretty forcefully proved my point about the gigantic double standard for liberals and conservatives: In order to prove I was a monster, the media put a liberal’s words in my mouth – the exact same words they hadn’t minded when a liberal said them.”

Except the words were Coulter’s, not Maher’s. Coulter out her own words into a liberal’s mouth.

Remember, Maher never said what Coulter claimed he said. So why would the media deliberately perpetuate a lie created by Coulter?

Maybe Coulter really is a “monster,” to use her own vernacular.

When queried by Fox News about those comments, “radio talk show host Rob Thompson” described Coulter as “intellectual chewing gum … a lady in a dress who likes to spit out things that cause a little bit of unrest, and she’ll go away for a while. She’ll crawl back in her hole and we’ll hear from her in about six months.”

Coulter’s larger point and broader claim that both she and Trump have been victimized by media lies is balderdash. (Coulter has been crying victim for twenty years!)

The truth of what they say and do is far more effective than any lie could be.

Ann, Fox News is Pro-Trump

Propagandist Ann Coulter boasted, “Look at what [Trump] has accomplished so far with every powerful entity against him, including Fox News.” Yes, she claims Fox News is anti-Trump!

Fox News Against Trump

Ann, Fox News has been zealously pro-Trump for ages!

Alert readers will recall her infamous claim of being banned by Fox News for being pro-Trump.

Perhaps reality will someday intrude upon her fantasy.

Does @AnnCoulter Love #BLM?

Nativist Ann Coulter recently reaffirmed her view that America “owes blacks” for the “legacy of slavery and Jim Crow.”

Coulter Loves BLM

Black Lives Matter would be proud. Those who value truth cringe.

This is polar opposite of the position she took in 1997 when she (quite accurately) said:

“I don’t understand the principle under which I’m supposed to be responsible for what some white people may have done six generations back. I mean, on that theory we oughta be punishing the children of criminals. We don’t even hold one – the next generation – responsible for what that person’s precise father did, much less some white guy 200 years ago.”[1]

(Indeed, today we don’t even hold the culprit accountable for his own actions.)

Only Blacks Have Civil Rights?

Now, two decades later, Coulter contends that America will be forever in debt to blacks. Coulter’s revised paradigm first emerged in her book, Mugged.[2]

Coulter claimed “civil rights are for blacks” because “We owe black people something, we have the legacy of slavery.” Yes, Coulter has fallen for the cult of victimhood and entitlement which is devastating so much of America today.

Civil rights are not, as Coulter contends, a function of victimization, but rather the consequence of a compact between citizens within a nation. For instance, the Constitution provides the foundation for our civil rights, with equal protections to all under the law. One could say these civil rights complement our universal human rights.

Coulter frequently cites the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution, as well as the Civil Rights Act of 1964, none of which claim that civil rights are for blacks only. Rather, they apply to all citizens of the United States. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 does not limit civil rights to blacks (it doesn’t even use the word “blacks”), but actually prohibits discrimination based on “race, color, religion, sex, or national origin,” a pretty all-encompassing cohort of the population.

The Amendments and Act Coulter refers to were designed to include blacks – and others – into the pool of individuals whose civil rights are guaranteed. Coulter seemed to understand this in 1997, when she commended California’s Proposition 209[3] “to prohibit racial discrimination, much like the equal protection clause under the Civil Rights Act.”[4]

Legacy of Slavery and Jim Crow?

Coulter is simply wrong.

Dysfunctional blacks communities in America today are not the result of the “legacy of slavery and Jim Crow.” Rather, they are the direct consequence of the legacy of identity politics[5] and the welfare state.[6]

For fifty years, every failed big city has been run by Democrats pursuing liberal policies. Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Milwaukee, and Washington, DC, spring to mind. Their liberal policies and perspectives have wreaked havoc on those communities, often erupting in violence, riots, and murder.

This is irrefutable,[7] yet Coulter continues her own version of racial demagoguery which acts as if the Union lost the Civil War and the Civil Rights Movement failed.

Coulter tacitly supports Black Lives Matter ideology by promoting a fallacious set of root causes for contemporary cultural pathologies within the black community. In effect, Coulter contributes to the escalating racial divide among Americans.

Black Lives Matter seized upon a false racial narrative in Ferguson[8] which literally fueled fires as the city erupted in flames.[9] Truth succumbed to a racial hoax.[10] Coulter perpetuates the core foundation of that hoax.

Strangely, Coulter once accurately condemned the racial grievance industry[11] and outed white liberals for their complicity and collusion.[12] Nevertheless, Coulter continues to grossly distort racial reality[13] and claim that civil rights are only for blacks and that blacks, in effect, have special rights. Apparently she never heard of Rev. King’s vision of a colorblind society.[14]

Coulter’s Own Racial Grievance Industry

As it turns out, Coulter is actually in the vanguard of a white version of the racial grievance industry[15] which asserts that America’s changing racial demographics will destroy America[16] as we once knew it and that we must restore a pristine WASP (white) America.[17]

Coulter’s nativist and xenophobic[18] views – fully expressed in Adios, America! – demonize all immigrants,[19] particularly Third World immigrants, especially Hispanics,[20] and those views have permeated Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Indeed, Coulter trumpets the advent of a New Trump Party[21] remarkably similar to the defunct Know-Nothing Party of antebellum America, one which is isolationist, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic,[22] and anti-Catholic.[23]

Coulter has repeatedly likened Trump’s fight for freedom for American workers to Lincoln’s fight for liberty for enslaved blacks. Strikingly, Coulter recently confused the Confederate flag for the American flag,[24] raising the question of which side she would have supported in that war.

It is possible that Coulter is compensating for her xenophobic, nativist views[25] (anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic) by extoling her love for blacks.

Regardless of her motives, her views suffuse the Trump campaign and threaten American values of liberty for all irrespective of race, gender, and class. We are all “endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights” because “all men are created equal.”

Let us all return to our roots – the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution – and reject the nonsense of Black Lives Matter, the New Trump Party, and Ann Coulter.

Effing Ann?

Christian evangelical Ann Coulter loves profanity. She uses it both privately and publicly. She has even been bleeped during on-air interviews.

Effing Ann

[Profanity alert!]

Coulter shouted “Fuck you” to a blogger covering one of her speeches. She told a reporter, “saying ‘Merry Christmas’ is like saying ‘Fuck you!’ I’ve said it to everyone.”

ANN COULTER WISHING NEW YORKERS PEACE ON EARTH AND GOODWILL TOWARD MEN

Immediately after one TV interview, Coulter erupted, “Fuck him! … Fuck Rush.”[1]

In yet another interview, Coulter exclaimed, “Can you imagine the Irish or Italians or Germans saying that to our country back at the turn of the century? ‘No! Fuck you! You came to our country. Learn our ways!’”[2]

Euphemisms figure prominently in Coulter’s lexicon, substituting “effing” to characterize and demonize  individuals and entire groups of people.

One too many anti-Semitic tweets[3] prompted her banishment from Fox News[4] and other conservative outlets. Her attempts to rationalize her anti-Semitism failed miserably.[5] Coulter claimed “effing Jews” referred to quantity and not quality; that, in fact, it was sort of an endearment.

In 2016, Coulter reprised her anti-Semitic commentary,[6] prompting even friends to be ashamed for ever having known her.[7] The question – Is Ann Coulter anti-Semitic?[8] – must be answered, “Yes.”

But Coulter is an Equal Opportunity Offender,[9] going out of her way to be offensive. She blithely employs her “effing” endearment to others, including Arabs. Contradicting her cultivated sense of refinement, Coulter argues, “I promise you out-of-work steel workers could not give two f***s.”

Coulter prides herself on her Buckleyesque language skills. Vulgarity diminishes, rather than enhances, her message. It also offers up a window into her heart.

Stunning Coulter-Nehlen Defeat

They came, they campaigned, they lost. In a landslide.

Coulter-Nehlen

Leading up to his spectacular defeat, Paul Nehlen, with Ann Coulter close by his side, sought to unseat Paul Ryan (R-WI). (Never mind that Coulter had previously defamed the entire Badger State.)

Nehlen/Coulter attempted to latch on to Donald Trump’s nonexistent coattails and ride the “anti-establishment” Trump Train to victory.

Through Ann Coulter’s Eyes

Coulter’s tweets tell the story. With bold confidence, Coulter promoted Nehlen as a surrogate for Trump and a savior in miniature for the nation. (Yes, she likened Nehlen to a savior as she had Trump.) For weeks, Coulter championed inevitable victory for Nehlen. He would be as big a winner as Trump.

Coulter tweeted:

Ryan01

Notice, Coulter called for Wisconsinites to “dump Paul Ryan,” saying “It will be historic.” She noted, “In 2010, only 4 of more than 390 House members lost in primaries.” Obviously, she was confident that Ryan would lose his primary battle in 2016.

Coulter tweeted:

Ryan02

In the midst of the primary, Coulter observed, “Ryan’s 88.6-point win in 2014= largest victory margin in a contested primary since 1950,” seemingly confident that Ryan’s imminent defeat would be similarly epic. So much for hubris.

Nehlen lost in a 68.2-point defeat.

Ryan05

The Donald has proven he has no coattails and the Trump Train is really a personality cult as opposed to a political movement (like the Tea Party) built around a clear set of principles.

Befuddled, Coulter lashed out at the media. From the onset, Nehlen’s campaign enjoyed being favorably compared to David Brat’s. Why? Underdog Brat ousted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in 2014. Nehlen’s failure to perform (does he have little hands, too?) naturally made news.

Coulter tweeted:

Ryan03

Coulter continued:

Ryan04

So, Coulter and Nehlen’s campaign deliberately raised the expectations bar to an “historic” victory comparable to Brat’s in 2014, one which Coulter herself suggested would also be like Ryan’s own “largest victory margin” in 2014, and, yet, Coulter rails against the media because she lost?

Coulter was wrong. Again. (Does anyone else remember the magnificent Romney victory Coulter predicted in 2012?)

Perhaps Coulter fears that, despite being Trump’s consigliere and biggest shill, her irrelevancy will continue to grow. Perhaps Coulter realizes that she had tied herself and her future to Trump’s success and that his failure would be hers as well.

Indeed, Coulter fears Nehlen’s defeat prefigures Trump’s and that she will be the biggest loser of them all.
