@AnnCoulter Trashes Trump and CPAC

Ever vindictive, Ann Coulter has trashed CPAC for the better part of a dozen years and she has trashed President Trump since even before his (first) inauguration.

Why? If she doesn’t get her way, she goes for the jugular.

CPAC (and many other conservative organizations) quietly rejected Coulter a long, long time ago. However, Trump’s rejection was very public, with him calling her, justifiably so, a #WackyNutJob!

(Ironically, hubris and arrogance have been Coulter’s downfall but she is too proud and arrogant to see it.)

Repentance and forgiveness remain utterly foreign concepts to Coulter, who claims to be a Christian.

Just this month, Coulter went on a Twitter tirade against both Trump and CPAC. As those things go, it was ugly.

Here are a few of her tweets and responses from her followers:

Here’s another set:

Consider the context of Coulter’s complaint. Trump was thanking the head of the organization – Matt Schlapp – for his repeated invitations to speak at CPAC. Trump spoke at CPAC in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and is scheduled to speak in 2020.

Why would Trump thank Lisa de Pasquale, an ardent Coulter fan and acolyte who betrayed CPAC to help Coulter? In fact, de Pasquale actually launched anti-CPAC events to coincide with CPAC conferences.

Coulter doesn’t know the meaning of the word “loyalty.”

Coulter’s various escapades at CPAC are recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

Happy 58th Birthday, @AnnCoulter

Conservative celebrity Ann Coulter turned 58 today. What has she accomplished in her nearly six decades of life?

Coulter’s life and work, worldview and self-identity, are all filled with myriad contradictions and conundrums. From whence do those arise? Hers is a fascinating story of elite privilege, hubris, and insecurity.

Almost sexagenarian Ann has both achieved her wildest dreams and squandered her life.

Raising a Narcissist

Ann’s first few weeks of life were spent in an incubator and her child and teenage years were also lived in an incubator of sorts, one which nurtured and molded the narcissist so many have grown to either love or hate. Those incubators have isolated Ann from real life and real relationships. (Now, she confesses to be an agoraphobe who reads a lot.)

As a child, Ann, the last-born baby princess, was both doted upon and the object of high expectations. Ann had much to live up toher family name, her Puritan ancestry, and her WASP settler roots.

Higher Education and Networking

Ann was reared by elites in the elite town of New Canaan, Connecticut, and she later attended elite academic institutions: Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School.

As a child, Ann quickly learned how to manipulate people with her looks and quick wit. In later years, she put her skills to good use, creating a vast network of useful contacts in academia, the media, and among various political organizations.

Coulter used those useful contacts to obtain jobs and, later, media gigs. Indeed, she would later all of those connections into lucrative book deals and speaking engagements, even cross-country speaking tours (and a Canadian speaking tour, as well).

Coulter would inevitably be drawn to the three power centers of America: Washington, D.C., (politics), New York (media), and Los Angeles (entertainment).

From Senate Staffer to Conservative Star

Since her teenage years (oh so long ago), Ann sought to become a star, a mover-and-shaker, a President-maker. In the late 1990s, Coulter was an obscure Senate staffer who quickly rose to prominence within conservative circles and would, in time, become close friends with multi-millionaires and billionaires.

In 1997, Coulter betrayed Paula Jones in order to impeach President Clinton. Ever since, she has sought to control the nomination process and electoral outcome of every presidential election, by whatever means necessary.

President-Maker and Pretender to the Throne

Beginning with the 2000 presidential election, Coulter sought to make a president. For fully two decades, Coulter smeared all opposition to her preferred candidates, fabricating “facts” and employing elimination rhetoric to achieve her personal, professional, and ideological goals. The politics of personal destruction became her métier.

Coulter became the gold standard for scorched-earth politics and relished identifying herself as a polemicist and provocateur.

Coulter found success in Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential victory campaign and has often claimed credit for his agenda and success. Indeed, during the first three years of Trump’s presidency, Coulter has acted as if she were president and that he should do her will.

Losing Her Moral Compass

In the end, Coulter discarded the values and principles instilled in her by Father and the grace, compassion, and generosity exemplified by Mother. Coulter abandoned the faith of Father and twisted the faith of Mother into her own unique gospel.

While despising the “godless Left” for its anti-Americanism and moral relativism, Coulter adopted the Left’s axiom of “the end justifies the means.”

Though claiming to be “totally pro-life,” Coulter has bashed the pro-life movement for over two decades, placing political pragmatism over eternal principles. Despite claiming to be “an extraordinarily good Christian,” Coulter has attacked Christians for over two decades – for behaving like Christians!

Once the fiercest neo-conservative warrior, Coulter became a strident nativist, pacifist, isolationist, and immigration hawk. With each incarnation, Coulter called those who opposed her views “traitors.”

From #InTrumpWeTrust to #NeverTrump … all over a Wall!

With Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory, Coulter’s dream of making a President (in her eyes, she gets almost all the credit) came true. But the honeymoon was over even before the election results came in.

Coulter vacillates between being #InTrumpWeTrust and #NeverTrump seemingly by the day, if not the hour. One moment she worships her “Emperor-God Trump” and the next she declares doomsday because of Trump! (Talk about mood swings!)

Beginning around 2014, Coulter’s peers, sponsors, and fans began rejecting her. President Trump called her a #WackyNutJob! Coulter became walled off from reality! Even at the end of 2019, in the midst of an American Renaissance, Coulter screamed doomsday! In effect, Coulter became the Left’s secret weapon against Trump and against America.

Coulter’s myopic view of #BuildTheWall walled her off from the reality of Trump’s 3D chess strategy. Coulter remains oblivious to Trump’s phenomenal achievements, all the more astonishing in that he is opposed by the #Resistance and a series of #WitchHunts seeking a #DeepStateCoup! Nevertheless, Trump keeps winning and winning.

Victim of Her Own Success

Power corrupts. So does fame. Coulter acquired both in a short period of time. All of the forces in her life fed her ego, puffed her up with pride, and propelled her to ever greater heights of hubris and hyperbolic polemics.

Coulter has garnered considerable attention, fame, glory, and infamy. She has achieved much, perhaps beyond her wildest imagination. She has received countless awards and accolades and strutted over many red carpets, but what has she really accomplished?

Coulter is intensely hated by the Left, is a pariah on the Right, has been rejected by those who know her best, and is at Ground Zero of the catastrophic forces which are tearing America apart – forces which she herself helped unleash!

Coulter’s perhaps well-intentioned efforts have often proved counterproductive. Justifying her extremist polemics, at CPAC 2002, Coulter argued that moving ever further right would pull people from the left to the center. Instead, her polemical approach pushed the left further left, exacerbating the political and cultural divide which plagues America today.

Coulter fuels the fires and fans the flames of hostile polemical rhetoric so palpable in contemporary America. Yet, she feels no guilt or shame and accepts no responsibility for her behavior and her role in the deterioration of political discourse in America.

Impenitent, not Irredeemable

Even though Coulter remains impenitent, she is not irredeemable. God loves … even Ann.

There are encouraging signs. Ann’s commentary appears much more factual and far less polemical than at the height of her career. Her verbal and Twitter outbursts of rage are less frequent. Certain anecdotal evidence gives me hope that Ann may be turning toward God, who alone can heal her brokenness.

My dear readers, please pray for Ann’s redemption and healing this Christmas season.

May God bless you all, bless Ann, bless President Trump, and bless this great nation.

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

Joker addresses the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, familial, sexual, and spiritual dimensions which have shaped the Ann Coulter that we know today and it highlights both the positive and negative aspects of Coulter’s life and career.

Is @AnnCoulter Really a Christian?

Is Ann Coulter a Christian?

For over two decades, many people have asked that question and answered with a negative. But Ann, strangely, regards herself as one, boasting: “I’m an extraordinarily good Christian.”[1]

Do genuine Christians talk about themselves in that way? (Ann shuns humility like the plague.)

Speaking of Jesus Christ

With the publication of her bestseller, Godless, in 2006, Coulter became a defacto religious authority, actually boasting about her own godliness. She frequently likened herself to Jesus Christ.

In recent years, Ann has developed the habit of commending sports figures who give thanks to God, even though she herself does not do so.

A recent Coulter tweet was very telling: about the “Godless media” and about Ann.

She accurately identified the Christophobic news media which excised a passionate plea by the brother of an innocent man murdered by a police officer. Coulter noted that the media ignored Brandt Jean’s urging Amber Guyger to “Give your life to Christ. I think giving your life to Christ is the best thing Botham would want for you.”

Coulter’s derisive contempt for Guyger leaps out in not naming her but calling her “the girl cop.”

Of course, Guyger did something Ann never does, indeed, refuses to do: repent and express remorse.

Guyger said,

“I hate that I have to live with this every single day of my life, and I ask God for forgiveness, and I hate myself every single day. I never wanted to take an innocent person’s life. And I’m so sorry.”

Coulter also ignored the import of Brandt Jean’s words. Brandt said:

“I know if you go to God and ask him, he will forgive you.”

(Coulter, herself, is a very unforgiving person.)

Brandt continued:

“I love you just like anyone else and I’m not going to hope you rot and die. I personally want the best for you. I wasn’t going to say this in front of my family, I don’t even want you to go to jail. I want the best for you because I know that’s exactly what Botham would want for you.”

(Coulter, herself, is a very unloving person.)

Brandt then beseeched the judge:

“I don’t know if this is possible, but can I give her a hug, please?”

The courtroom video is poignant and profound: Brandt pleads with the judge to let him hug Amber and Amber rushes to embrace Brandt.

This was the hug that was felt around the world, but not in Ann’s heart.

Fruit of the Spirit

Of course, love is the first and primary fruit of the Spirit in a Christian’s life, something seemingly absent in Ann’s.

Galatians chapter 5 is pivotal in understanding the spiritual makeup of a Christian.

  • Love. Ann’s love is limited to herself and those like her or related to her. It seems as if she hates everyone else. That hatred is profoundly deep and perversely pervasive in her life.
  • Joy. Ann is understandably joyful among her friends, when attending her beloved comedian shows, when being praised and worshiped by her adoring fans, during red carpet events, and when she is enjoying comedy routines or sporting events. But hatred and fear frequently squash her joy.
  • Peace. Ann is seldom at peace. She is always at war with someone. Peace cannot coexist with fear and hatred. “Perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18).
  • Longsuffering (patience). Over two years of weekly, if not daily, attacks on President Trump over the wall strongly suggests that Ann has no patience. However, Ann was very longsuffering in the long-term illnesses of both Mother and Father.
  • Kindness. Ann’s kindness is extended to only those who can reciprocate or prove useful at the moment or in the future.
  • Goodness. I have long sensed a core of goodness within Ann that she appears to be repressing (perhaps wishful thinking). The absence of goodness seems to be more her forte. Which is Coulter and which is a chimera?
  • Faithfulness. Ann is faithful to a very limited number of people. In most cases, her commitment to faithfulness is dependent upon the recipient’s ability to provide her with what she wants from that person. Faithfulness to God? Hardly.
  • Gentleness. This is an attribute seldom exhibited by Ann, and, even then, usually for self-promoting purposes. Ann can be gentle toward those she loves (e.g., Mother), but is rarely so to those who serve no purpose to her.
  • Self-control. I could say that Ann erupts at the drop of a dime, but she often does so before the dime has dropped. Ann is quick to anger, swift to speak, and slow to listen.

Instead of exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, Ann is far more prone to display the works of the flesh.

What Happened to the Dog?

The real Ann Coulter was on display during a 2015 radio interview[2] which demonstrated, like Animal Farm, that some people are more equal than others and that Ann is more equal than everyone else.

At the beginning of the interview, Ann was told the heartbreaking story of an innocent woman who was struck during a high-speed car chase which resulted in her becoming a quadriplegic. Utter silence from Ann. Shortly thereafter, Coulter made jokes about car chases and joked about a suicide.

Then Ann was told about a tragedy concerning a dog. She asked, “What happened to the dog?” Hearing that he died (burned to death on live television), she replied in shock, “Awww!”

Moments later, Ann said, “I feel sorry for the quadriplegic lady, too. I don’t want you to think I’m only worried about the dog [laughs]. That was just kind of a surprise ending.”

Coulter is so intellectually agile that she immediately recognized the disparity in her reactions to two very similar tragedies and she knew the audience would take note at well. So, she instantly went into justification mode, trying to put out the flame before it became a raging fire.

Note that Coulter is more concerned with what people think of her than she is about the tragedies which have befallen others.

That segment of that interview strongly reinforced my conclusions that, for Ann, most people are worthless (worthless = worth less than Ann). To her, they are invisibles. She cared far more about the deceased dog than about the quadriplegic lady – but doesn’t want us to know that.

The Mind of Christ

The apostle Paul exhorted the Philippian church: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 2:5).

Ann very clearly does not have the mind of Christ.

What can we do?

We can pray for her and encourage her to repent.

We can hold her accountable for her wrong behavior until she repents.

Enabling Ann to persist in her wrong behavior only makes matters worse. Moreover, failure to confront Ann with her behavior which is in direct conflict with the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ taints the reputation of other Christians and of the body of Christ and brings dishonor to our Lord and Savior.

God Loves … Even YOU, @AnnCoulter!

Dear Ann,

You are well aware of the many criticisms directed at you in my latest book, Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged. You also know of the praise and encouragement contained within that book.

Permit me to, again, offer you hope!

Your failures, faults, and foibles all derive from your soul-deep self-identities. They, in turn, are your way of coping with the deepest wounds of your past and your deep insecurities – which you hide from others by various means. Your arrogance and hubris mask the emotional turmoil raging within you.

Narcissism is so very unbecoming. So, too, are hardened hearts and closed minds.

Yet, Ann, despite all of your failures and all of your psychological dysfunctions, you remain a very gifted person.

You are clever, though not wise. You have a wealth of knowledge, yet can be an ignorant know-it-all like @AOC. You are an accomplished wordsmith who, all too often, uses your words injudiciously. Often, you have keen insights, yet, you also often go astray due to your obsessive self-identities, those you have created as a raison d’etre and to hide your wounds and brokenness.

Your self-identities, as identified and explained in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, have warped your worldview and imprisoned you in a prison of your own making. As a consequence, you have alienated people from across the political spectrum and severed many personal and professional relationships with individuals and organization who were once enthralled by you.

But, take heart, there is hope. You can be restored. Your wounds and brokenness can be healed. Your calloused heart and closed mind can be made whole again.

Will you listen? Will you take heed? Will you allow humility to conquer your hubris?

God loves you. Yes – YOU!

Will you accept His love? Will you allow His love to transform your life? Will you follow His will instead of your own?

Until you do, you are and will remain Dead Ann Walking!

Your REAL Identity

Who are you? If you knew the Bible as well as you know 1984, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and Alien Nation, then you would know who you are.

Throughout Scripture, God tells us over and over again who we are. If we have been redeemed by Christ and Jesus lives in us, then we are beloved children of God.

In John 15:9, Jesus tells His disciples, “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.”

Ann, accept Jesus’ love and live in His love.

Several videos exquisitely convey the significance of what it means to have one’s identity in Christ. Among them, Our Identity in Christ, Your Identity in Christ, 101 Truths about our identity (position) in Christ, Identity in Christ Scripture Meditation, Identity in Christ, Identity in Christ, How God sees you in Christ, Identity in Christ, and Who Am I (Know Your Identity in Christ).

Therefore, our true identity – both our sense of self and our sense of worth – are found and bound up in Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ.

Jesus is our only hope for freedom. “So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

God is infinite. Nothing is impossible with Him. And His love for His children is everlasting. When we forget who He is and who we are, we become lost, bewildered, and alone. But when we remember that we are the beloved children of an infinite God, everything changes.

If you are in Christ, never forget who you are and that your identity is found in Him.

If you are not in Christ, go to Him, repent, seek forgiveness and transformation, and rest in Him!

Author and evangelist Timothy Keller exhorts Christians “to live as the adopted sons and daughters of God secure in the abiding and abundant love of their heavenly Father (Rom. 8:15-17; 31-39).”[1]

Countless worship songs express God’s infinite love and unfathomable grace for His people. Among them are Casting Crowns’ Only Jesus, Lauren Daigle’s You Say, Sidewalk Prophets’ Come to the Table, Hawk Nelson’s Drops in the Ocean, Francesca Battistelli’s He Knows My Name, Melody Noel’s Mistakes, Matthew West’s Mended, and MercyMe’s Flawless.[2]

Let There Be Light in your life, flowing from God, through you, to others!

The more we limit God by putting Him in a box, the more limitations we place on ourselves. The more we have a diminished view of God, the more we place Him, ourselves, and others in ever-smaller boxes. But with an exalted view of God, we have a liberating view of Him, ourselves, and others.

With a limitless God, not the sky, but heaven itself is the only limit to our dreams.

Take heart, Ann! The best is yet to come – if you will see yourself and the world through God’s eyes and embrace His unfathomably deep, boundless, and everlasting love for you.

Please reread Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged with an intent to (re)establish a relationship with our Father in heaven, who deeply loves you and desires the best for you in this life and the next.

[2]           A colleague of Ann’s once asked me, “She doesn’t care about you. Why do you care about her?” Let me answer that question this way: Every human being has been rebellious to God. Everyone has sinned against Him and let Him down. Nevertheless, He still loves us with an unfailing love. If I – as a fallen human being who has seen the dark side of Ann up close and personal – if I can care for her, how much more does our Father in heaven, filled with everlasting love, love her with a perfect love?

Ann Coulter: America’s Fool!

Once hailed the Goddess of the Conservative Movement and a Conservative Icon, polemicist and Alt-Right Queen Ann Coulter has become America’s Fool!

Joker cover

For over twenty years, Coulter’s preferred presidential nominee has become someone she ultimately hates.

Coulter shares astonishing similarities with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and has been called the AOC of the GOP!

Every self-identity Coulter holds is bogus.

Coulter is not a Settler, but an Immigrant.

Coulter is not a WASP purebred, but a mongrel.

In addition to two decades of presidential follies, Coulter’s fiascos are legendary, including at Berkeley, the Hamptons, CPAC, and with Delta.

How did Coulter become America’s Fool? Hubris!

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis in this holistic exposé of how and why Coulter became the person she is today.

Joker addresses the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, familial, sexual, and spiritual dimensions which have shaped the Coulter extant today and it highlights both the positives and the negatives of Coulter’s life and career.

Ann’s brokenness provides an object lesson for all of us and, hopefully, this book will act as a public intervention to help Ann to face her brokenness and seek healing and restoration.

Ann Coulter Pence-ive

With Conservatism and the American Dream on the precipice of disaster, will Ann Coulter choose to save herself or America? Will she continue to place pride above principles[1] or, in an abrupt about face, to actually do the right thing.

Pence-ive

Donald Trump’s selection of pro-immigration Gov. Mike Pence (IN) as his running mate places Coulter in a predicament, especially since her primary (if not sole) reason for supporting Trump is what she perceives as his strong stand against immigration.

For over a year,[2] Coulter has insisted – promised, vowed – that Donald Trump[3] is the only one we can trust to build a wall and stop immigration.[4]

Early this May, Coulter astonishingly claimed: “I’m bitter and cynical enough on immigration that I don’t trust anyone not to betray us. But if there was ever a candidate we could believe will build a wall and stop the mass importation of the Third World, it’s Trump.”[5]

But Trump has already proven that his immigration policy is malleable in order to reach consensus with the establishment. His pledge for a wall and deportation of illegal aliens are merely starting points for negotiation and will be retracted for expediency and making deals with Congress.

Even as Trump spoke of being flexible and willing to negotiate a grand deal (“comprehensive immigration reform” anyone?), Coulter continued to extol his virtues (as invisible as they might be) while besmirching all his detractors as corrupt or crazy[6]all the while opposing the one conservative candidate with a proven record on immigration – Ted Cruz.[7]

Aghast at the very thought of Trump choosing Pence for vice president, Coulter erupted with a tirade.[8]

For a fleeting moment, I hoped that she would see through Trump’s flimflam and realize that he will never fulfill her dreams. Immigration remains the single issue that matters most to her, yet she continues – to this day – to support Trump, the one candidate who has proven himself untrustworthy on this (and every other) issue.[9]

Will Coulter now abandon her commitment to a border wall and a moratorium on immigration – national policies she claims are essential to saving America as we know it – merely to salvage her pride and sell more books?

If Coulter has any integrity at all, she will denounce Trump, support a delegate revolt at the GOP Convention, and endorse Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), the only conceivable candidate who could both defeat Hillary this November and, once in office, be trusted to follow the Constitution and to make preservation of national sovereignty and American identity a top priority.

It will take more than integrity for Coulter to do the right thing. It will also take incredible courage – courage to admit that she was wrong about Trump[10] and that she lied about Cruz.[11]

Will Coulter place her own pride above the best interests of this nation (and the world), continuing to do what she has always done by taking the path of least resistance?[12]

Or will Ann do what she knows in her heart is the right thing to do? Will she trust in God, seek His will, and do it?

Ann regards Trump as her Savior.[13] If she would look to her real Savior – Jesus Christ[14] – then she could be filled with courage to do the right thing.[15] Will she?

(Have a little faith, Ann.)

Coulter Banned For Trump? Ridiculous!

Playing the victim yet again,[1] Coulter recently claimed, “Try to find me on TV. I’m what’s known as a Trump supporter. Banned.”

Banned For Trump

Coulter banned for supporting Trump? Is Coulter’s claim true? Will you believe your own eyes or believe Coulter’s lies?

Another LOL Moment

Trump supporters are all over the airwaves. Trump is all over the airwaves. In fact, Trump has already received over $2 billion of free publicity this election cycle.

What about Fox News, Coulter’s former home base (she has appeared on that network at least 450 times)?

Fox News has given Trump tons of favorable coverage and bent-over-backwards to defend him. In fact, Fox just aired a one-hour, prime-time special for Trump last night (On the Record) and will air another one-hour, prime-time special with Trump on Hannity tonight, immediately preceding the crucial Wisconsin primary to be held tomorrow.

So, why hasn’t Coulter appeared on Fox News since September 17, 2015? Is it, as she claims, because she is a Trump supporter? Obviously not.

Asked in January if she had been banned by Fox News, Coulter insisted, “No, I’m boycotting them! I’ve joined the Trump boycott!”[2]

What Trump boycott? As of January 26, 2016, Donald Trump had already appeared on Fox News and Fox Business News 132 times[3] – far more than any other candidate. That number has undoubtedly skyrocketed since then. (See also Steve Deace’s analysis at “Trump’s Cancer Spreads to Fox News.”)

The Real Reason for Coulter’s “Ban”

If Coulter has been banned from Fox News (the only network she really cares about), it is not because she is Trump’s biggest supporter and consigliere.[4] Rather, Coulter’s own behavior and obnoxious views have precipitated a sharp decline in the attention which would normally be lavished upon her.

The tipping point occurred in mid-September when she first attacked Jews, then Catholics.

Coulter’s infamous rant against Jews[5] cost her both speaking engagements and television appearances.[6] She had been slated as a presenter for both Media Research Center’s Dishonors Awards and David Horowitz’s Restoration Weekend. She was discretely disinvited from both of those prestigious events.

Coulter’s phony excuses[7] failed to convince critics and fans alike. On the heels of her anti-Semitic tirade, Coulter went on an anti-Catholic rant, the first of several to come. Coulter repeatedly attacks Catholics[8] for being Catholic. She just won’t stop.

Playing the victim, Coulter is nevertheless the victimizer.[9] Vanity hinders her repentance,[10] something she has always been loath to do. Until she does, she should be shunned. In the meantime, she is desperately in need of your prayers.[11]

Update: “A new report confirms that five television networks cut a deal with Donald Trump that has effectively turned their coverage over to the Republican frontrunner and turned the networks into Trump propaganda arms.”

As of this writing (4/13/16), “Trump has appeared on Hannity an astonishing 41 times since he announced his campaign last June, often for the entire hour.”
