.@AnnCoulter Lies For 25 Years About #SCOTUS Cases and Nominees!

With the not unexpected passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, provocateur Ann Coulter is again stridently seeking relevance by trying to become the voice for determining her replacement on the high court.

DON’T TRUST ANN COULTER!

Since RBG’s passing, Coulter has gone on several Twitter rants in support of the only person she considers qualified, the 58-year-old Miguel Estrada. Why? They have been BFFs for 25 years and he shares her views on immigration.

Coulter’s rants include incessant attacks upon the character of Amy Coney Barrett – solely because she is a Catholic (although her being female probably also figures into the equation). Coulter falsely claims that Barrett’s Catholic faith would influence her decisions on the death penalty. The American Spectator, a one-time ally of Coulter’s, also rejects Coulter’s absurd claim.

(Coulter has opposed the Catholic faith, often with vigorous vilification, for decades.)[1]

This isn’t Coulter’s first attempt at subverting the Constitution for political purposes.[2]

(Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides a more detailed, in-depth analysis than contained in this post.)

Elián González

The Elián González case became international political theater during the 2000 presidential race. It rekindled the Cold War in miniature. Coulter fed into that political hysteria by telling lies of her own, lies which fit into her own ideological sensibilities. Those lies included turning a Supreme Court decision on its head, claiming it said the exact opposite of what the Court decided.[3]

The heart and core of Coulter’s case for denying Juan Miguel González custody of his own son rested on Coulter’s decades-long belief that fathers have absolutely no rights or responsibilities to their own children except through marriage.

On talk TV – contrary to what the law actually says – Coulter continually insisted that putative fathers have no rights to their children: “The law used to account for these things by saying the father doesn’t have rights to a child unless he’s married to the mother. That’s how a man can claim his heritage and his claims on a child. … That’s how a father gets the right to children, by being married to the mother.”[4]

Coulter reaffirmed – again and again – that only marriage confers custodial rights: “First of all, the idea that a father has rights to a child by donating sperm; No! A father gains rights to a child by being married to the mother. … He has absolutely no rights to the child! Fathers gain rights to children by marrying the mothers.”[5]

The only problem with Coulter’s claims is that they are false. The law has always upheld the biological rights of fathers, irrespective of whether the child is born out-of-wedlock.

Parental Rights

Coulter’s view of parental rights was her principal argument to separate a son from his father, but that core point of her position, that central concept, was an outright lie! To buttress that lie – which she has consistently expressed for over twenty years – Coulter lied about a Supreme Court ruling which any layman can read and see that it reaches the exact opposite conclusion. Coulter wrote:

“Let’s just consider the initial presumption that a father gets custody of his son. The law is indeed clear, at least to this extent: That ‘law’ refers only to legitimate children. … The Supreme Court last weighed in on the legal rights of unwed fathers in 1989 when it cut off all of the father’s rights to his child, including visitation.”[6]

In her essay, Coulter literally reversed the decision of the Court, falsely claiming it denied those custodial rights. Contrary to Coulter’s fiery opinion, the law says otherwise. The Supreme Court, in five cases, upheld the principle of paternity rights for putative fathers. Those cases were all cited in the Supreme Court case cited by Coulter.

In a rather remarkable display of truth twisting, Coulter took this Supreme Court case which affirms the custody rights of natural fathers and declared it the definitive denial of those rights![7]

The father in Coulter’s cited case was not denied parental rights due to illegitimacy but because his claim of fatherhood was filed after the filing deadline. That father had failed to assert his rights within two years of his daughter’s birth. Illegitimacy was never the issue. The Supreme Court has consistently confirmed custodial rights of natural fathers, both in principle and in practice. So, the case Coulter cited says the exact opposite of what Coulter claimed. (This would become a pattern for Coulter.)

“Bald assertions about the very question under dispute,” Coulter once wrote, “is an odd method of argument,”[8] yet that is precisely what Coulter did (and continues to do). According to Coulter, “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion; everyone is not entitled to his own facts.”[9] Apparently Coulter is not above making up her own “facts.”

Strangely (or not, for Ann), Coulter later asserted, “Apparently that’s the way constitutional analysis goes these days. You determine, we’re all Ruth Bader Ginsburg now: Whatever you want the Constitution to say, that’s what it says, miraculously. Well, that has never been me!”[10]

Sorry, Ann, but you are the allegedly “conservative”[11] Ruth Bader Ginsburg!

Birther Coulter Births More Lies

In 2015, Ann Coulter led the charge of those seeking to crush a Cruz candidacy with a lie!

When she thought she could foist Romney on us again in 2016,[12] Coulter began to attack Cruz on his citizenship. With Cruz posing a serious threat to Trump, her new-found soul-mate,[13] Coulter shifted into high gear, stridently claiming Cruz was ineligible to be president.[14]

Erstwhile anti-birther Coulter became the premiere birther attacking Ted Cruz. Why? She wanted to scuttle Cruz’s presidential ambitions and stop his burgeoning support before her own Savior, Trump, lost the nomination.

It’s Really Not About Ted, But All About Ann

Seemingly on emotional steroids, Coulter turned her attack dog persona on Trump’s most formidable Republican foe, all the while professing an “Ah, shucks, I don’t want to do this, but it’s the right thing to do” attitude even has she stuck a shiv in Ted’s side.

Coulter dodged claims that she changed position on Cruz’s eligibility solely to support Trump by asserting she took her current position prior to Trump’s candidacy. That is a red herring.

Coulter wrote: “I said so long before Trump declared for president, back when Cruz was still my guy.”[15] Coulter claimed, “It’s not that I want him not to be a Natural Born Citizen.”[16] Except, Coulter’s later claim is patently false and demonstrably untrue.

In reality, Coulter was obsessed with recruiting Romney for president, so much so that her close friend, Sean Hannity, was aghast at the depth of her obsession. Cruz was becoming an impediment to Coulter’s plans for Romney.

Coulter first sought to disqualify Cruz as a presidential contender to force her idol, Mitt Romney, to run again[17] in 2016. At that time, she wanted Romney – and only Romney![18]

Later, she wanted Trump – and only Trump![19]

Later still, Coulter boasted that she still wanted a Trump-Romney ticket: “In fact, my ideal ticket is Trump-Romney. That’s what I’m really hoping for. That’s the dynamite combo.”[20]

Bob Woodward said, “History is character; behavior is character.”[21] Coulter’s history, and her behavior these past two decades, proves Coulter’s own lack of character.[22] Coulter lied about the Constitution and Supreme Court cases during the 2000 election[23] and she did the same thing during the 2016 election cycle.

Nevertheless, Coulter hypocritically attacked those who correctly interpret the Constitution, lamenting, “It’s kind of annoying me that we are all Ruth Bader Ginsburg now and people interpret the Constitution based on what they want the Constitution to say, not what it does say.”[24]

1608 or 1790; Blood or Soil?

Coulter even emulates Justice Ginsburg, who infamously used contorted and convoluted reasoning to achieve her desired partisan objectives. Andrea Widburg notes, “The worst thing about her decisions, though, was how she misused case authority to create new principles out of whole cloth.  Nothing shows that more than in her determination to bypass our American Constitution and law and look to foreign constitutions, laws, and customs.” Coulter echoes Ginsburg’s approach.

According to Coulter, “In the U.S., also in Great Britain and in France, citizenship is determined by soil. … Congress can write laws for naturalization. That is also in the Constitution. But if Congress has to write a law to make you a citizen, you’re not natural born. … It is determined by a law written by Congress; not by the common law, not by the Constitution. So that is not natural born.”[25]

Except, the law written by Congress (and empowered by the Constitution) establishes who is natural born! In 1790, Congress established citizenship by blood.

Coulter asserted: “The phrase ‘natural born’ is a legal term of art that goes back to Calvin’s Case, in the British Court of Common Pleas, reported in 1608 by Lord Coke. The question before the court was whether Calvin – a Scot – could own land in England, a right permitted only to English subjects.”[26]

The case which Coulter cited – Calvin’s Case (1608) – has to do with English subjects, not citizens. Americans are not subjects. Our Founders took those portions of English common law with which they agreed and modified or dispensed with those portions which were incongruent with the new American constitutional system that they were creating.

Chief Justice Joseph Story wrote, in an 1829 Supreme Court opinion (emphasis added): “The common law of England is not to be taken, in all respects, to be that of America. Our ancestors brought with them its general principles, and claimed it as their birthright; but they brought with them and adopted, only that portion which was applicable to their situation.”

Coulter claimed that a 1608 case in England is the basis for America’s definition of Natural Born Citizen.[27] Consequently, Coulter asserted that the 1790 law enacted by Congress is irrelevant. Does Coulter seriously believe that a 1790 American law enacted by the Founders is nullified by English case law from 1608? Really?

According to the Yale Journal of Law and the Humanities (emphasis added), “In Britain, even before Calvin’s Case, various acts and proclamations provided that a child born out of the territory of England could also be a natural-born subject, as long as the child’s parents owed allegiance to the sovereign of England. This is an example of the jus sanguinis [blood] operating alongside the jus soli [soil]. In the history of both Britain and the United States, the jus sanguinis has always been established by statute, never by judge-made law.

The 1790 statute by Congress, which Coulter dismissed as “irrelevant,” precisely establishes the principle of right of blood which Coulter denies![28]

The Congressional Research Service published its findings on this issue (emphasis added):

“From historical material and case law, it appears that the common understanding of the term ‘natural born’ in England and in the American colonies in the 1700s may have included both the strict common law meaning as born in the territory (jus soli), as well as the statutory laws adopted in England since at least 1350, which included children born abroad to British fathers (jus sanguinis, the law of descent).”

Cleverly, Coulter very subtly suggested that those defending citizenship by blood are nascent Nazis, saying (emphasis added), “The two methods are soil or blood. Curiously, in Germany, it’s, it’s blood.”[29]

Coulter Lied About Yet ANOTHER Supreme Court Case

Coulter wrote: “As the Supreme Court said in Bellei, a case about the citizenship of a man born in Italy to a native-born American mother and an Italian father: ‘It is evident that Congress felt itself possessed of the power to grant citizenship to the foreign born and at the same time to impose qualifications and conditions for that citizenship.’”[30]

Coulter used this case to prove her contention that Cruz is ineligible, when, in fact, it proves the opposite!

As noted in ROGERS v. BELLEI, (1971) (emphasis added):

“Section 301 (a) of the Act, 8 U.S.C. 1401 (a), defines those persons who ‘shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth.’ Paragraph (7) of 301 (a) includes in that definition a person born abroad ‘of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States’ who has met specified conditions of residence in this country.”

The plan thus adopted by Congress with respect to a person of this classification was to bestow citizenship at birth but to take it away upon the person’s failure to comply with a post-age-14 and pre-age-28 residential requirement. It is this deprival of citizenship, once bestowed, that is under attack here.”

“The very first Congress, at its Second Session, proceeded to implement its power, under the Constitution’s Art. I, 8, cl. 4, to ‘establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization’ by producing the Act of March 26, 1790, 1 Stat. 103. That statute, among other things, stated, ‘And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens: Provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States.’” [Subsequent statutes extended it to either a citizen mother or citizen father.]

Ted Cruz Is Eligible!

Gary DeMar is perhaps the foremost expert on America’s Founders. DeMar offered a history of originalist thought on Natural Born Citizen and reached this stunning conclusion: “Ted Cruz [is] more of an American than some of the drafters of the Constitution.”

A chagrined Coulter lashed out: “Imagine what nightmare a Cruz presidency would be! This is now the second time Cruz has forced me to research something his supporters were lying about – the last time was on Cruz’s alleged eligibility to be president, despite being born in Canada. (He’s not a ‘natural born citizen,’ but I enjoyed reading all those Supreme Court opinions!)”[31]

Sarah P. Condor-Fisher at Politichicks disagreed: “the People of the United States have the power to recognize a ‘naturalized’ citizen as ‘natural-born’ at any time – by a Congressional declaration of ‘eligibility’ as to the particular person (Art.1, Sec.5), by means of legal interpretation from the Supreme Court – or, by a Constitutional Amendment.”

But for Coulter, this is not just political, it is personal. Seeing herself as the embodiment and perfect representative of America – the “Settler” – she could not brook an interloper gaining the presidency. Moreover, she wanted to be in control of the process and the outcome of the election.

Coulter Defames Supreme Court Nominees

With the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, conservatives searched for a constitutionalist to replace him. Thomas Hardiman and Raymond Kethledge were floated as a possible replacement. Coulter chose to defame them in order to get her preferred nominee elevated to the highest court in the land.

Again, immigration was the crucial factor in her decision making. Either she doesn’t understand the law as well as she thinks or would have us believe) she does, or she deliberately defamed him (which has been a pattern of behavior she has exhibited for some 25 years).

Raymond Kethledge

Coulter defamed Raymond Kethledge in a column and a series of tweets.

Coulter concluded that Kethledge is an open borders zealot and – without evidence of any kind – that he would betray his oath of office by deliberately misjudging cases to that end.

(Why? Coulter would surely subvert the law, if given the chance, to pursue her own agenda. She has numerous times in the past.)

Coulter presumes Kethledge lacks integrity and would not keep his oath of office because she wouldn’t.

Coulter tweeted:

  • Finding that grand-theft auto is not a theft (AS LONG AS THE CRIMINAL IMMIGRANT GETS TO STAY!) kind of shoots down to the claim that Kethledge is a constitutional textualist.
  • And unlike most ppl taking sides on S. Ct nominees I don’t know any of them personally.* But I can read! *Except Kethledge, which is how I know he’s opposite of Trump on immigration.
  • FALSE! I was a lonely voice in the woods warning you about Judge Roberts. Also opposed Miers — while being attacked for it on Fox News. Now, I’m telling you Kavanaugh is stellar.
  • No commitment to originalism or religious liberty or even overturning Roe will mean a hill of beans in a country that becomes Mexico because of open-borders zealots like Kethledge. See California.
  • That’s a direct quote from the TEXT of the law Kethledge was applying, 8 U.S.C. 1101 – “Definitions”
  • Can anybody figure out what this “text” means? “The term ‘aggravated felony’ means— (G) a theft offense (including receipt of stolen property) or burglary offense for which the term of imprisonment at 5 least one year”

Matthew Downer responded to Coulter:

Kethledge applied the law CORRECTLY.

The definition: “for which the term of imprisonment is at least one year.”

“He was sentenced to a three-year SUSPENDED sentence.”

He “served LESS THAN ONE YEAR in the county jail.”

Thomas Hardiman

Coulter also defamed Thomas Hardiman, again, with the exact same purpose – to get her preferred judge nominated.

As reported by Law and Crime, Coulter attacked “Third Circuit Judge Thomas Hardiman, and accused him of being “subsidized” by liberal philanthropist George Soros.”

Coulter tweeted:

As noted by Law and Crime: “What the heck is up with that? Well, it’s not entirely accurate.” (See article linked above for more details.)

Leonard Leo, Coulter’s close friend and President of the Federalist Society, said (emphasis added), “Tom Hardiman … is very much in the mold of Justice Scalia, well-schooled on the doctrines of originalism and textualism, and he is very experienced.”

Ann Coulter’s #Resistance Movement

Coulter was part of the #Resistance long before it came into being. Just ask Sen. Spencer Abraham, whose policies she subverted while she was working for him on the Senate Judiciary staff in 1995-1996. Coulter boasted of creating plans and giving information to her colleagues to thwart Abraham’s immigration agenda.

Coulter is ever ready to put her thumb on the scales of justice or use a rhetorical fist to achieve her desires. Her end justifies her means.

With every election cycle and every Supreme Court nomination, Coulter becomes #FakeNews.

Over twenty years ago, Coulter said, “I’m perfectly willing to engage in wild speculation and unsubstantiated rumors[32] and her claim is even more true today.

Coulter has become a law unto herself, abandoning principles willy-nilly. She perverts language and subverts the law to undermine the election process, election results, and the will of the people. (See Never Trust Ann Coulter – at Any Age.)
Coulter was Strzok before Strzok became Strzok.

.@AnnCoulter – Wackier Than Ever!

#WackyNutJob Ann Coulter both claims that she is “the head of Trump’s re-election campaign” and declares that she will attack Trump more than ever in 2020.

Last year, I exposed Coulter as the Left’s secret weapon against Trump and against America.[1]

Coulter was also exposed as a betrayer extraordinaire![2] Nevertheless, Coulter has the audacity to charge Trump with disloyalty.

Cognitive dissonance reigns in Coulter’s mind. Doublethink prevails.

Coulter continually attacks Trump for pursuing our #AmericaFirst agenda (in a holistic and not compartmentalized manner), consistently denounces Trump’s character and integrity, yet, somehow, this is helping him get re-elected?

Coulter has – for years – been a liability to Conservatism, America, and Trump’s #AmericaFirst agenda. (This series of essays will flesh that out in more detail.)

Coulter is virulently anti-Trump (she hates his entire family), is crazy about a wall and only a wall, and loves his “Mexican rapists” line – which is the line which the Left points to as proof of Trump’s racism.

Thanks a lot, Ann.

Trump Keeps His Promises

Every day, we see more evidence that Trump already has an amazing record of extraordinary achievements[3] toward Making America Great Again, and most Americans – apart from Coulter and the #TDS-addled Left – can see those accomplishments and want to reward him with a #Trump2020LandslideVictory!

Unlike Coulter, Trump keeps his promises. Yet, Coulter absurdly contends that Trump hasn’t kept any of his promises.

In contrast, last year Charlie Kirk highlighted many of those kept promises:

(Question for Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA: If Coulter has continually blatantly lied about President Trump for almost four years and is siding with the #FakeNewsMedia against Trump, then why are you sponsoring Coulter’s speeches?)

American Thinker recently reported on a Trump rally, writing (bold and underlined emphasis added):

When Trump spoke about outreach to the black community, the whole crowd roared its approval.  People there clearly believe that blacks have been enslaved by the Democrat party for too long. It’s time for them to break free and come to a community that welcomes them as fellow Americans who can enjoy this land’s bounty, rather than as a victim class that can reliably be played for votes as needed.

While the crowd may have been mostly white, there was nothing else “mostly” about it. Judging by looks, there were young families, retirees, current and former military, cops, blue-collar workers, white-collar workers, bikers, farmers, scads of “women for Trump,” high school and college students, polished urban people, and rough hewn country people.  What bound them together was a shared love of country and, because he is serving this country well, love of Trump.

In 2020, they’re supporting him more fervently than ever because he kept those promises. That was the theme they came to over and over again: he kept his promises.

And they agreed with his policies: a controlled border protects us from criminals, job-takers, and disease; socialism is bad; the Second Amendment is good; law enforcement is good; Trump’s economic policies are great; skin color shouldn’t matter; and Israel deserves America’s support. They see only good coming from Trump having four more years – and, given how Congress and the press treated him during three of his first four years, they jokingly agree that he should get a do-over.

To the above list, I would add his revamping of the judiciary, incredible support for the pro-life movement, opposition to human trafficking, and restoration of America’s position on the world stage.

In contrast, Coulter attacks Trump whenever he deals with anything which is not related to the wall or immigration. Coulter’s tunnel vision blinds her to the reality of what Trump is doing – an end run around the #DeepState, #Resistance, and #FakeNewsMedia.

Moreover, President Trump is for all Americans, not just the white Americans Coulter demands he cater to.

Trump’s Kept Promises!

American Thinker provided superb analysis of Trump’s economic achievements, writing (emphasis added):

When Trump took office, the U.S and World economies were slowing. The CBO projected job growth of 1.8 million in Trump’s first three years. We were told that the labor force was aging and that is all we could get.  Economic “experts” like Paul Krugman and Mark Zandi, who always shill for Democrats, predicted a severe recession with millions of job losses.

Instead, in the first three years we got around seven million new jobs, one million fewer part time jobs, a higher labor participation rate, a record high around seven million job openings and we finally got rising wages, especially for those at the bottom.

We also got record oil production because of Trump’s policies, and despite rising interest rates, we have had soaring stock markets, until the current coronavirus scare, because of Trump’s tax cuts.

We also got stabilized health care insurance rates after Trump got rid of the individual mandates – despite predictions prices would soar. Freedom of choice and more competition always work. We have a lot of slow earners. Life expectancy finally ticked back up after getting rid of the individual mandates.

We also have fewer people on food stamps because more people, especially minorities, the disabled, blue collar workers and the less educated, have more economic opportunities and are earning more. Many categories of workers have reached record low unemployment. No, President Obama, it did not take magic to bring back manufacturing jobs, it just took good policies.

We were told that the tax cuts would only help the rich and would cause revenues to go down trillions. Those were both lies.

It is not luck that the U.S economy is doing so much better than Europe and other countries around the World. It is because Trump’s policies focus every day on getting the power and purse back to the people as fast as possible instead of building up the greedy, powerful government. He is the opposite of the dictator and fascist that he is called.

American Thinker also outlined many of Trump’s judicial accomplishments, writing:

In the two to three years since that rash of decisions, Trump and Sen. Mitch McConnell have been working steadily to break the stranglehold activist judges have on the federal judicial system. To that end, they have placed 193 new judges in the federal system.

These are judges who do not believe that it is their role to legislate from the bench, who do not believe that the Constitution is a “living document” that can be folded, spindled, and mutilated to justify any outcome they want, and who do not believe that their emotional responses override the law.  Instead, strict constructionists believe that it is their responsibility to interpret the Constitution and the law as written, and as the drafters intended, regardless of their preferred outcome.

Donald Trump is finally able to fulfill his promises regarding immigration. And unlike what Obama did, when he unconstitutionally implemented his “DREAMer” policies, Trump is not rewriting or ignoring existing law. Instead, Trump has been working to enforce federal immigration laws as written. It took getting a majority of strict constructionist judges on the federal bench to stop activist judges from blocking his efforts to enforce the law.

But Coulter still vilifies Trump for not building a wall on her timetable!

#RussiaHoax Continues

American Thinker also had a feature which addressed the illogical and ideological fallacy of the whole spectrum of #RussiaHoax claims that we have seen over the past four years. He writes (emphasis added):

It is relatively easy to surmise the kind of leader whom Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping would love to see leading America.

That leader would be weak, show little interest in a militarily strong America or its allies, and implement policies that would weaken America and American influence. That leader would be skeptical of capitalism and would be advocating the dismemberment of the U.S. energy sector, since this would significantly boost Russia’s economic prospects and global influence while crippling America. That leader would propose obscene levels of government spending to bury the country under a mountain of debt. He would be all in on open borders.  He would be groovy with unfair trade agreements and would seek to tie America’s hands behind its back with ineffective international treaties and agreements. That leader would be a committed globalist inclined to see America as the problem. He might even own a flexible red plastic reset button.

Notably, there are candidates aplenty in the race who check the right boxes, and none of them is named Trump. Anyone who is telling you Russia wants Trump to be re-elected is telling the big lie, one that is so absurd that only a university-educated fool would believe it. It also demonstrates that the media and their fellow Democrat travelers are convinced that Americans really are a special kind of stupid.

Coulter ignores the daily and hourly onslaught of attacks against President Trump and foolishly adds to those attacks!

#DeepStateCoup

Is Coulter unmindful of the depth to which the Left has sought to undo the 2016 election and prevent a #Trump2020LandslideVictory?

In fact, Coulter seems sure that he will lose if he doesn’t build a wall to her liking.

American Thinker offered highlights from 2015 to the present. Here are a few selected paragraphs:

The Justice Department then used this fictitious document to commit fraud on the FISA Court. The DOJ needed to lie in order to spy on and infiltrate the Trump campaign. Its agents needed insurance to make sure Hillary won. They didn’t care how many people and families they destroyed and how many crimes they had to commit to achieve their only goal, which was to elect Hillary. So far, few, if any, of the criminals in the Justice Department have been charged.

Most of the media never cared about any of the crimes or unrelenting attacks on Trump. In fact, they were a major participant.

Then, Heaven forbid, Trump beat the odds and won, and the attacks escalated. Most of the media, bureaucrats, and other Democrats set out to impeach Trump, no matter how many fictional charges they had to bring. The investigations and fake articles have been unrelenting. The number of people Democrats are willing to destroy as they quest for power is pathetic.

Still, Coulter joins the chorus of far-left activists denouncing Trump, while claiming she is helping him!

Coulter’s ever-increasing wackiness is recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

@AnnCoulter Trashes Trump and CPAC

Ever vindictive, Ann Coulter has trashed CPAC for the better part of a dozen years and she has trashed President Trump since even before his (first) inauguration.

Why? If she doesn’t get her way, she goes for the jugular.

CPAC (and many other conservative organizations) quietly rejected Coulter a long, long time ago. However, Trump’s rejection was very public, with him calling her, justifiably so, a #WackyNutJob!

(Ironically, hubris and arrogance have been Coulter’s downfall but she is too proud and arrogant to see it.)

Repentance and forgiveness remain utterly foreign concepts to Coulter, who claims to be a Christian.

Just this month, Coulter went on a Twitter tirade against both Trump and CPAC. As those things go, it was ugly.

Here are a few of her tweets and responses from her followers:

Here’s another set:

Consider the context of Coulter’s complaint. Trump was thanking the head of the organization – Matt Schlapp – for his repeated invitations to speak at CPAC. Trump spoke at CPAC in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and is scheduled to speak in 2020.

Why would Trump thank Lisa de Pasquale, an ardent Coulter fan and acolyte who betrayed CPAC to help Coulter? In fact, de Pasquale actually launched anti-CPAC events to coincide with CPAC conferences.

Coulter doesn’t know the meaning of the word “loyalty.”

Coulter’s various escapades at CPAC are recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

@AnnCoulter’s Last CPAC Conference (2014)

Ann Coulter had been a perennial speaker at CPAC since 1998. For a number of years, she was a favorite of the crowds.[1] More often than not, Coulter became involved in some sort of Coulter-generated controversy which threw the spotlight on her rather than the conference itself.

Indeed, many conservative organizations boycotted the conference because of Coulter’s participation in it. Since then, each year, her credibility and stature declined, a reflection of her bizarre behavior and conflicted ideology.[2]

Coulter’s CPAC 2014 Highlights

Skipping to Coulter’s last appearance at CPAC, several noteworthy observations must be made.

Coulter’s Death Threats at CPAC

Coulter accelerated her use of elimination rhetoric in 2014.[3]

Coulter Trivialized Rape – Again

Coulter, who would deny life to babies conceived by rape, now equated immigration with rape using graphic terms. Clearly, Coulter does not truly believe in the sanctity of human life.

For nearly two decades, Coulter has railed against rape hoaxes, such as Tawana Brawley’s, which were perpetrated to make political points.  But Coulter’s real attitude toward rape is cavalier.  Babies conceived in rape have no value in her eyes. Coulter speaks favorably of raping the planet. And, here, she claimed immigrants were raping her!

Coulter’s Courage at CPAC

Coulter applauded her own courage in debating “the smartest living liberal” – except, it was all a scam. Coulter and Kaus, best of friends, colluded to an ostensible “debate” which would really be a forum for Coulter to advance her immigration agenda.

In a series of tweets (and, presumably, emails) Coulter repeatedly requested that Mickey Kaus debate her at CPAC. It must have taken enormous courage to “debate” a close personal friend in agreement with her views.[4]

Others quickly noticed what I had discerned: It was a sham “debate.” The American Spectator’s bold headline asked: “Where Was the Debate?”

But this was really a scam from the beginning. Three years later, Coulter reminiscently gloried in her victory over CPAC.

Coulter Scammed CPAC – Again!

Yes, Coulter’s “debate” was just the latest (and last) scam Coulter would perpetrate against CPAC, it’s sponsors, and its audiences.

Speaking on-air with her friend, Joyce Kaufman, Coulter gloried in her hijinks, saying:

“Oh, by the way, this scam I pulled with CPAC was really so brilliant, I just need to take thirty seconds to tell you about that.”

“They weren’t letting me speak, even though – I think I told Joyce this – I’m sorry I have to say this but it’s relevant to the story; every year they poll ten thousand CPAC attendees and every year I’ve been voted, for a decade now, the most popular speaker, even when Rush is speaking, even when Sean Hannity is speaking. They’re wonderful people, but I’m an excellent CPAC speaker.”

“And so, ‘Well, that’s weird, they’re not inviting me to speak this year.’ And they keep saying, ‘The invitation’s in the mail, the invitation’s in the mail,’ and then, finally, ‘Oh, we have an idea. Why don’t you have a debate?’ Why?”

“So, Mickey Kaus and I were ‘debating’ [air quotes here] and no matter what question we were asked – it’s a wonderful video, you should look it up – no matter what the question was, we turned it back to immigration.”

“They had immigration panels last year. No one was allowed to be anti-amnesty. But I just give a speech. They don’t ask what I’m going to say, so my speech last year was anti-amnesty. Thus, the trouble this year. … We weren’t on the schedule, weren’t on the agenda. Nobody knew I was even going to be at CPAC, but we still packed the ballroom.”[5]

 Coulter’s Shamelessness at CPAC

Coulter’s shamelessness extends beyond her betrayal of friends, colleagues, and the organizers and sponsors of CPAC. Coulter’s shamelessness is obvious in her words, behavior, and hypocrisy. At CPAC, she asserted, “shaming is good” and demanded that we tell poor people to “keep your knees together before you get married.” Does she follow her own advice?

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis in this holistic exposé of Ann Coulter. This is but one of many CPAC escapades by Coulter presented in Joker.

Endnotes:

[1]      Not surprisingly, Coulter does not regard these crowds numbering in the hundreds and thousands to be “mobs.” Her flawed definition and analysis of mobs can be found in The Beauty of Conservatism.

[2]      We should Never Trust Ann Coulter – at ANY Age.

[3]              Her obsessive employment of elimination rhetoric is highlighted in The Gospel According to Ann Coulter.

However, I actually thought one of her jokes was funny, placing her phone conservation in the context of one in a popular movie, Taken. But Coulter has a long and deep history of employing elimination rhetoric and passionately expressing her hatred for a vast number of individuals and groups, thus counteracting any humorous content contained in the “joke.” Moreover, one could argue that, in this joke, Coulter was equating Obamacare employees with Serbian killers and human traffickers.

In the most recent case, quoting a line from the movie Taken could be taken as humorous coming from someone who does not have Coulter’s track record. If Coulter were less cavalier about life – and less liberal in using elimination rhetoric – her death “jokes” might have some value. But she has dipped into that well far too many times.

[4]      The myth of Coulter’s courage is debunked in several chapters of The Beauty of Conservatism.

The Day @AnnCoulter Cried at CPAC

For decades, envelope-pusher Ann Coulter has promoted herself as “FEARLESS” and claimed that she never cries. Neither claim is true.

In 1999, I attended my first CPAC conference as a credentialed member of the press. I had no inkling of the drama that was about to unfold before my eyes.

Although Coulter claims she hasn’t cried since she was a child, Radley Balko disagrees: “I’ve seen her cry.”[1]

Coulter, at the age of 37, cried at CPAC in 1999.

I attended that conference as a member of the press and witnessed what Balko would later describe. Coulter was part of a panel, but when the moderator asked her his first discussion question, she got up, went to the podium, and started giving a speech. After a few minutes, she was asked to sit down.

As the panel discussion ensued, it was not long before Coulter griped that she had been hooked off the stage and she was later cross with several audience questioners. Coulter – while still on the panel – sniveled: “Well, I’m already worried about the extent of the White House spin when I get hooked off the stage.”[2]

In what I’m sure the audience originally perceived as a non-event, Coulter turned into a big deal, even accusing the coordinators of skullduggery and the moderator of conspiracy. Since Coulter turned this into an event and leveled accusations against others to cover her own faux pas, let’s look at what really happened.

Gary Nolan, President of Capitol Watch, introduced the event as a panel discussion and introduced Ralph Hallow as the moderator, who, in turn, introduced the panel, and then asked Coulter a discussion question to start things off.

Coulter got up, walked around the moderator to the podium, and began a speech, saying: “I’m going to keep talking until a light goes on.”

In the midst of her soliloquy, Hallow handed her a note telling her to sit down. She ignored his note. Later, Hallow interrupted her again, this time whispering in her ear. Surprised at the interruption, she asked, “Sorry, what do you want me to do?” Puzzled, she asked, “You didn’t want a speech?”

Balko observed, “the panel concluded with Ann struggling to choke back tears. I snuck back behind the panel after the session, of course, hoping to witness more drama. And that’s when I saw Cold-Blooded Coulter in sobbing hysterics. She’d been bullied. And now she was crying.”

Don’t take Balko’s word for it. The Washington Post made a similar observation. Coulter lamented, “The moderator cut me off! I was humiliated in front of 600 people!’ Between sobs, she sucked on a cigarette.”[3]

A minor faux pas became a newspaper headline which opened a window into Coulter’s heart.

Coulter retaliated in a letter-to-the-editor.[4]

I must write to correct a few of the many egregious misstatements in your Jan. 27 Reliable Source column.

I am not, and have never been, arm candy for Bob Guccione, Jr. The Gooch was my arm candy – my boy toy – whom I eventually, and regretfully, had to replace with a much younger man.

As for your report that I might run for the House in order to be taken more seriously, I am puzzled. Would becoming a member of the House really be a step up from being a New York Times bestselling author?[5] If so, I might start really dreaming. Perhaps someday I could trade in a seat on the House subcommittee on sheep-products for the dizzying heights of becoming a no-name gossip columnist for your paper.

Ann H. Coulter

In 1997, Coulter told me that she had trouble defending herself using letters-to-the-editor “without sounding defensive and pathetic, no matter how short and sarcastic.” She was right.

@AnnCoulter at Her Best

Recently, Ann Coulter celebrated her 58th birthday. Over the years, I have been very critical of Ann, and rightly so, but here I want to acknowledge her strengths and offer you a sampling of the best of her commentary.

Many have remarked upon Ann’s wit and charm (neither of which are necessarily indicators of morality in and of themselves). She is telegenic and knows how to court her audiences in person and on-air.

Ann has written 13 books (of varying quality), published close to 2,000 columns, given tens of thousands of interviews, and was once a favorite (and increasingly controversial) public speaker.

Following are selections from some of Ann’s best columns for your enjoyment and edification.

October 2014 – Ebola Crisis

Ann’s Ebola column was priceless.[1] Factual, well-reasoned, incisive, witty, non-polemical. (I wouldn’t change a word.)

Ann also wrote a literary gem[2] which I would like to share with you.[3]

Entitled “Your ‘to do’ list to save America,” Ann addressed the upcoming elections with insight, wit, and vigor. I thoroughly enjoyed her literary style (while disagreeing with a few of her points). It was well written and engaging, with a good overall structure, and it adroitly expressed her intended message with flair. Forceful, yet restrained.

Ann opened with the need to “swing the Senate to Republican control,” then, in her second paragraph, wrote my favorite sentence in this column:

“Turn that into a mnemonic, sew it on needlepoint pillows, include it in your wedding vows, right-wingers.” Beautiful imagery, quaint, to the point, with a cascading effect which lends a subtle sense of mounting urgency.

March 2017 – Illegals Rape Children

In perhaps her best column of 2017, Ann exquisitely expressed the dangers of political correctness, identity politics, and the negative impact of open borders on America. The tragic rape of a 14-year-old girl – and its emotional and political fallout – deeply touched Ann’s heart, largely in part because it was an illegal raping an American teenager.

May 2017 – Manchester Concert Terrorist Attack

In a poignant column published shortly after the Manchester concert terrorist attack in May, 2017, Ann’s satirically titled column – “Rome Burns – Nero Worries About Pyrophobia” – cut to the heart of the matter. It is, perhaps, her second-best column of 2017.

This was one of Ann’s two best columns of 2017, written with deep passion and conviction about an issue dear to her heart.

June 2017 – Alexandria Shooting

Ann highlighted the hypocrisy and partisan political agenda of the Fake News Media in the wake of an assassination attempt by a Leftist against a group of Republican political leaders! (Trump Derangement Syndrome prevails on the Left. Though, of late, Coulter has been captured by its allure.)

August 2017 – Statue of Liberty

Ann spotlighted the absurdity of the Left’s immigration talking points and their looking to a poem written by Emma Lazarus which is on the Statue of Liberty donated to America by France instead of looking to what is written in our American Constitution.

September 2017 – Immigration Moratorium

Ann showcased the lunacy of current immigration policy and the failure of politicians to protect the American people from dangers both foreign and domestic.

October 2017 – Snarky Media

Apparently without any self-reflection at all, Ann accurately observed the nature of the Fake News Media and its failure to objectively report the facts on the great issues of our day.

November 2017 – Sexual Harassment

Ann exposed the sham nature of the #MeToo movement and its double standards when reporting on liberal vs. conservative villains.

January 2018 – Being an American

Ann drew a line in the sand between those who are American patriots and those who are self-proclaimed citizens of the world.

March 2018 – Walls Work

Through the first two years of the Trump presidency, the Left’s primary talking point regarding securing our border is that nothing can be done about the influx of illegal aliens and that walls do not work. Ann’s counterargument refuted their nonsense.

March 2018 – White Privilege

Ann mocked the Identity Politics Left, which has championed the nonsensical White Privilege narrative for perhaps a decade or more. (Of course, Coulter has her own equally nonsensical WASP Privilege narrative.)

June 2018 – End Immigration[4]

In denouncing the open borders movement, Ann eloquently expressed how unlimited immigration is transforming America from top to bottom.

June 2018 – Genocidal Rwandan Refugees

Ann contrasted absorbing alleged refugees from extremely dysfunctional countries who bring with them the violent antisocial aspects of their homelands to America with the Left’s obsession over microaggressions in American culture.

The only culture the Left condemns is America’s!

July 2018 – SCOTUS Panic

Because the ideas of the Left are anathema to most Americans, the Left has used the courts to implement its agenda which is contrary to the will of the people. Ann pointed out why the Left is so incensed over Supreme Court and lower court nominations, employing scorched-earth politics and ad hominen rhetoric against those it deems a threat to its Progressive agenda.

October 2018 – Sanctuary Cities

Ann explained why she calls sanctuary cities the new Jim Crow.

January 2019 – Leftist Anti-Wall Talking Points Walled Off from Reality

Ann cogently and humorously explained why walls work, why they can and should be built, and why the Left’s preferred solutions are ineffective.

 May 2019 – #BuildTheWall

Though I disagree with Ann’s continued attacks against Trump over immigration and the wall, Ann did a good job rhetorically of conveying her viewpoint.

August 2019 – Democrats Should be on a Terrorist Watch List

Ann hoisted the Left on its own petard, using its own standards, to declare that “every Democratic presidential candidate should be on a terrorist watch list right now.”

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

[2]               Ann Coulter, “Your ‘to do’ list to save America,” 9/17/14.

[3]               While I disagree with some of her conclusions, her presentation was excellent. It was a thoroughly enjoyable read, except for the elimination rhetoric in the very last phrase. (Some habits die hard.) (I would also have chosen words other than “insane” and “idiots,” though, perhaps I am getting too picky.) But for a nuts-and-bolts let’s-get-down-to-the-details election analysis, it was top notch, and, again, an enjoyable read. Consider it an unpolished diamond.

[4]               Ann correctly diagnosed the rationale and motivating factors behind the open-borders movement and its false narratives against those who seek to preserve national sovereignty and American culture.

Happy 58th Birthday, @AnnCoulter

Conservative celebrity Ann Coulter turned 58 today. What has she accomplished in her nearly six decades of life?

Coulter’s life and work, worldview and self-identity, are all filled with myriad contradictions and conundrums. From whence do those arise? Hers is a fascinating story of elite privilege, hubris, and insecurity.

Almost sexagenarian Ann has both achieved her wildest dreams and squandered her life.

Raising a Narcissist

Ann’s first few weeks of life were spent in an incubator and her child and teenage years were also lived in an incubator of sorts, one which nurtured and molded the narcissist so many have grown to either love or hate. Those incubators have isolated Ann from real life and real relationships. (Now, she confesses to be an agoraphobe who reads a lot.)

As a child, Ann, the last-born baby princess, was both doted upon and the object of high expectations. Ann had much to live up toher family name, her Puritan ancestry, and her WASP settler roots.

Higher Education and Networking

Ann was reared by elites in the elite town of New Canaan, Connecticut, and she later attended elite academic institutions: Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School.

As a child, Ann quickly learned how to manipulate people with her looks and quick wit. In later years, she put her skills to good use, creating a vast network of useful contacts in academia, the media, and among various political organizations.

Coulter used those useful contacts to obtain jobs and, later, media gigs. Indeed, she would later all of those connections into lucrative book deals and speaking engagements, even cross-country speaking tours (and a Canadian speaking tour, as well).

Coulter would inevitably be drawn to the three power centers of America: Washington, D.C., (politics), New York (media), and Los Angeles (entertainment).

From Senate Staffer to Conservative Star

Since her teenage years (oh so long ago), Ann sought to become a star, a mover-and-shaker, a President-maker. In the late 1990s, Coulter was an obscure Senate staffer who quickly rose to prominence within conservative circles and would, in time, become close friends with multi-millionaires and billionaires.

In 1997, Coulter betrayed Paula Jones in order to impeach President Clinton. Ever since, she has sought to control the nomination process and electoral outcome of every presidential election, by whatever means necessary.

President-Maker and Pretender to the Throne

Beginning with the 2000 presidential election, Coulter sought to make a president. For fully two decades, Coulter smeared all opposition to her preferred candidates, fabricating “facts” and employing elimination rhetoric to achieve her personal, professional, and ideological goals. The politics of personal destruction became her métier.

Coulter became the gold standard for scorched-earth politics and relished identifying herself as a polemicist and provocateur.

Coulter found success in Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential victory campaign and has often claimed credit for his agenda and success. Indeed, during the first three years of Trump’s presidency, Coulter has acted as if she were president and that he should do her will.

Losing Her Moral Compass

In the end, Coulter discarded the values and principles instilled in her by Father and the grace, compassion, and generosity exemplified by Mother. Coulter abandoned the faith of Father and twisted the faith of Mother into her own unique gospel.

While despising the “godless Left” for its anti-Americanism and moral relativism, Coulter adopted the Left’s axiom of “the end justifies the means.”

Though claiming to be “totally pro-life,” Coulter has bashed the pro-life movement for over two decades, placing political pragmatism over eternal principles. Despite claiming to be “an extraordinarily good Christian,” Coulter has attacked Christians for over two decades – for behaving like Christians!

Once the fiercest neo-conservative warrior, Coulter became a strident nativist, pacifist, isolationist, and immigration hawk. With each incarnation, Coulter called those who opposed her views “traitors.”

From #InTrumpWeTrust to #NeverTrump … all over a Wall!

With Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory, Coulter’s dream of making a President (in her eyes, she gets almost all the credit) came true. But the honeymoon was over even before the election results came in.

Coulter vacillates between being #InTrumpWeTrust and #NeverTrump seemingly by the day, if not the hour. One moment she worships her “Emperor-God Trump” and the next she declares doomsday because of Trump! (Talk about mood swings!)

Beginning around 2014, Coulter’s peers, sponsors, and fans began rejecting her. President Trump called her a #WackyNutJob! Coulter became walled off from reality! Even at the end of 2019, in the midst of an American Renaissance, Coulter screamed doomsday! In effect, Coulter became the Left’s secret weapon against Trump and against America.

Coulter’s myopic view of #BuildTheWall walled her off from the reality of Trump’s 3D chess strategy. Coulter remains oblivious to Trump’s phenomenal achievements, all the more astonishing in that he is opposed by the #Resistance and a series of #WitchHunts seeking a #DeepStateCoup! Nevertheless, Trump keeps winning and winning.

Victim of Her Own Success

Power corrupts. So does fame. Coulter acquired both in a short period of time. All of the forces in her life fed her ego, puffed her up with pride, and propelled her to ever greater heights of hubris and hyperbolic polemics.

Coulter has garnered considerable attention, fame, glory, and infamy. She has achieved much, perhaps beyond her wildest imagination. She has received countless awards and accolades and strutted over many red carpets, but what has she really accomplished?

Coulter is intensely hated by the Left, is a pariah on the Right, has been rejected by those who know her best, and is at Ground Zero of the catastrophic forces which are tearing America apart – forces which she herself helped unleash!

Coulter’s perhaps well-intentioned efforts have often proved counterproductive. Justifying her extremist polemics, at CPAC 2002, Coulter argued that moving ever further right would pull people from the left to the center. Instead, her polemical approach pushed the left further left, exacerbating the political and cultural divide which plagues America today.

Coulter fuels the fires and fans the flames of hostile polemical rhetoric so palpable in contemporary America. Yet, she feels no guilt or shame and accepts no responsibility for her behavior and her role in the deterioration of political discourse in America.

Impenitent, not Irredeemable

Even though Coulter remains impenitent, she is not irredeemable. God loves … even Ann.

There are encouraging signs. Ann’s commentary appears much more factual and far less polemical than at the height of her career. Her verbal and Twitter outbursts of rage are less frequent. Certain anecdotal evidence gives me hope that Ann may be turning toward God, who alone can heal her brokenness.

My dear readers, please pray for Ann’s redemption and healing this Christmas season.

May God bless you all, bless Ann, bless President Trump, and bless this great nation.

@AnnCoulter, Trump’s 3D Chess is #Winning! (part II)

We’ve seen that Ann Coulter is 100% wrong about Donald Trump and the 2020 election.[1] We’ve also seen that Coulter has no grasp of Trump’s 3D-chess approach to foreign and domestic policy; nor does she grasp that he is winning![2]

Here, we briefly look at Trump’s accomplishments on the singular issue that Coulter cares about: immigration![3]

Immigration Policies

As he has in other policy areas, Trump has been very careful to stay within the framework of the Constitution. This irks Ann, as she wants her policies implemented her way, and she wants it done now!

But Trump, by adhering to the strictest interpretation of the Constitution, has masterfully refuted the Left’s contention that he is a dictator-in-chief. Moreover, he has exposed the depth of the Deep State and the Resistance, the propagandistic nature of the Fake News Media, the usurpation of Executive Branch responsibilties by a left-wing activist court, and the anti-American nature of the modern Progressive movement.

Our President has made considerable progress despite the myriad foes arrayed against him, including a Russia Hoax and Witch Hunt which sought to cripple or destroy Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda.

Trump has proven victorious.

The American people are behind him.

Trump’s Policies are Working!

CBP “Deputy Commissioner Robert Perez said border apprehensions have plunged for the second straight month, and that the Trump administration’s deal with Mexico to help slow the flood of immigrants to the southern border is working.” He added:

“It’s absolute proof. Unquestionably, an agreement with the government of Mexico that was literally unprecedented by way of the degree of cooperation, the commitment they’ve made, to enforce and go down in numbers with their National Guard and law enforcement along their border … Guatemala.”

Perez continued:

“Interior enforcement up, as well as enforcement along our southern border – that coupled with the collaboration with the migrant protection protocol and some of the work that we’ve been doing with the northern triangle countries – all combined, you’ve seen those numbers drop now in two months in a row.”

Recently, a “federal appeals court sided with the Trump administration on Friday in the legal battle over its efforts to limit asylum claims from Central America – blocking, for now, a nationwide injunction that blocked the implementation of the rule.”

Trump is looking at the bigger picture, engaged in global 3D chess, and tending to all of his responsibilities as President of the United States.

But all Ann wants is a wall! How short-sighted!

Why?

My new book, Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged,[4] explains Coulter’s obsession with a wall and all that it symbolizes.

Joker provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

@AnnCoulter, Trump’s 3D Chess is #Winning! (Part I)

Ann Coulter abhors 3D Chess and castigates Trump over it. Why? She can’t grasp how he does it!

Coulter wants Trump to do things her way, not his way. But Trump is winning, winning, winning – on every front! Yet, all Coulter does is whine, whine, whine.

Coulter Abhors 3D Chess

Coulter is smart and, at times, brilliant. She possesses an exquisite command of the English language and is renowned for her witty repartee. But she cannot grasp 3D chess. (Perhaps checkers is more her style.)

But, Ann, Trump’s 3D Chess is WORKING!

America is Winning, Winning, Winning by every imaginable measure! In the economy, the judiciary, foreign policy, reducing government and incresaing liberty, defending the preborn and people of faith, and putting a check of the world’s most dangerous tyrants and regimes.

Peace and prosperity is a winning platform! (Who, besides leftists and Ann Coulter, could be against that formula?)

[For a detailed status report of Trump’s WINNING #MAGA agenda and strategy, see @AnnCoulter, the Left’s Secret Weapon Against America at https://wp.me/p4jHFp-oh.]

More recently, Larry O’Connor observed:

The Washington Examiner recently reported:

“The unemployment rate for adult men and women stands at 3.3%, 6.0% for blacks, and 4.3% for Hispanics.”

Remember the maxim: “It’s the economy, stupid!”

Support for Trump is gaining in very single demographic. Meanwhile, Leftists have exposed their extremism and demonstrated just how out-of-sync they really are with Middle America.

America is winning, winning, winning, but all Ann does is whine, whine, whine.

Why?

.@AnnCoulter, Coward of the Country

Erstwhile “conservative icon” Ann Coulter continues to prove herself to be the Coward of the Country!

Coulter, author of In Trump We Trust and Resistance Is Futile (both failures), quickly became a member of the Resistance and has even declared herself Never Trump for the rest of her life in a remarkably rash and remarkably clear vow to the American People.

Those familiar with her work know that Coulter is prone to making rash and hasty decisions and intemperate declarations such as her vow quoted above.

Does she regret her words? Her rashness? Has Coulter, at the age of 57, yet to learn from past mistakes?

Conversely, has she fled the massive negative feedback from her views by retreating into other areas and missions?

Repentance and forgiveness are not part of Coulter’s repertoire. Admitting error, or weakness of any kind, is not in her moral or emotional DNA.

Indeed, Coulter lacks the courage to admit she made a mistake. Apologize? Never! Admit error or a moral failing? Not a chance!

At a recent event at the New York Young Republicans Club, Coulter exhorted the audience: “Be brave, be Christian, and don’t worry about Liberals.”

Does Coulter practice what she preaches? Decidedly not.

“Be brave, be Christian, and don’t worry about Liberals.” – These are not attributes which are prevalent in Coulter’s own life.

Has Coulter Kept Her Vow?

As of this writing, Coulter has written 25 columns since pledging to denounce Trump in every one of her columns for the rest of her life.

Did she follow through on her promise to her fans, her audience, herself?

Of course not.

Only five columns (20%) denounced Trump and/or his “bloodsucking relatives.” In some of the remaining columns, Coulter took a few slight snipes at Trump, but they were hardly denunciations. In other columns, Coulter tacitly defended Trump on the periphery.

In four columns, Coulter actually explicitly defended Trump (on Cohen’s porn-star payoff, fake Russian collusion narrative, false Epstein-Trump narrative, and phony Charlottesville-Nazi narrative).

Three columns addressed immigration and its societal costs and changing racial demographics.

Two columns condemned marijuana while a third addressed those incarcerated for drug-related crimes.

Two columns were devoted to Robert Mueller.

Two columns lambasted the Central Park Five.

One column covered Felicity Huffman and the elite college admissions scandals.

One column deified Thurgood Marshall while vilifying Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

One column vindicated Thomas Jefferson from historical revisionism while another column addressed historical revisionism and cultural Marxism in general.

One column explicitly attacked the Swamp (instead of Trump) and another column examined the relationships between Jeffrey Epstein, Alex Acosta, and Barry Krischer (tacitly defending Trump).

Coulter Has Not Kept Her Vow!

Why not?

Either she quickly realized the foolishness of her vow, or she fears that by keeping her vow she will alienate the dwindling remainder of her fans, peers, and colleagues. Either way, Coulter has again taken the coward’s way out.

Coulter should either courageously own up to and apologize for making a mistake or she should courageously keep her vow even if it has a negative impact on her career and livelihood.

Coulter loves to be viewed as a courageous heroine, but, whenever the going gets rough, she chooses the easy (cowardly) way out. This is but the most recent example.

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

Joker addresses the physical, mental, emotional, psychological, familial, sexual, and spiritual dimensions which have shaped the Ann Coulter that we know today and it highlights both the positives and the negatives of Coulter’s life and career.
