Coulter’s Curse: Her Endorsement is the Kiss of Death

Erstwhile conservative celebrity Ann Coulter – who has admitted more than once that she is bad at predictions – demands that Americans heed her choice for political candidates ranging from the state assembly, to governors and senators, and, especially, presidential candidates.[i]

Coulter’s track record is abysmal.

One could arguably contend that an Ann Coulter endorsement is the kiss of death!

Jeff Sessions in 2020

In 2020, Coulter endorsed and endlessly supported Jeff Sessions to regain his former senate seat. For four years, Coulter relentlessly touted Sessions as the best member of the Trump administration and the best (perhaps only) savior of America.

Sessions lost in a crushing landslide defeat (61% to 39%). Coulter’s full-throated support for Sessions went down in flames.

True Americans will never forget that Sessions abdicated his responsibilities as U.S. Attorney General by failing to drain the swamp. Moreover, his foolish and cowardly recusal needlessly allowed the #DeepStateCoup and #RussiaHoax to continue for three more years, thus embedding a false narrative into the American consciousness, lending a foundational framework for the #UkraineHoax and #FakeImpeachment, and crippling the Trump administration from fully fulfilling its MAGA agenda.

Had Sessions done his job properly and been the warrior for truth and justice we all expected, Trump would have undoubtably been even more successful than he has been in pursuing his America First agenda, including on immigration, the one issue Coulter is most passionate about.

But instead of blaming Sessions, she adoringly praises him and bitterly attacks Trump! #TDS![ii]

Kris Kobach in 2018 and 2020

Coulter, laser-focused on immigration, vigorously campaigned for Kris Kobach for Kansas governor. Kobach, a bureaucrat and policy wonk, was defeated 48% to 43%. She endorsed and campaigned for him in vain. Apparently, the citizens of Kansas did not view him as a leader.

Coulter made the exact same mistake in 2020, endorsing and vigorously promoting Kobach for Kansas senator in a state which had previously rejected him for governor. Kobach was handily defeated (39% to 26%). (Some would say that qualifies as a landslide.)

There was a dumbfounded silence on Coulter’s Twitter feed following Kobach’s debacle. Nary a word. One person sarcastically tweeted that Coulter’s endorsement “carried no weight.”

Strikingly, Coulter’s brazen ego thought that Kansans would forgive and forget her snarky tweet two years earlier: “Kansas is dead to me.” Instead, Kansans (wisely) don’t trust Coulter and they decisively rejected her endorsement.

Paul Nehlen in 2016

In 2016, Coulter endorsed and campaigned for Paul Nehlen for his bid for a Wisconsin congressional seat. Nehlen garnered an abysmal landslide defeat (84% to 16%).[iii]

Perhaps Wisconsinites didn’t like two Alt-Right leaders sharing a platform together.[iv]

Mitt Romney in 2012 and 2016

Who can forget Coulter’s lavish worship of Mitt Romney for president in 2012 and her insistence that Romney was the ideal and perfect candidate? Romney was crushed (electoral votes 332 to 206).

Even so, Coulter still wanted him to run in 2016![v]

Even during Trump’s rise to victory, Coulter proposed a Trump-Romney ticket and assured the whole of America that she could broker a rapprochement between the two.

Utter nonsense!

To this day – despite Trump’s endorsement of Romney for the senate in Utah – Romney has consistently back-stabbed Trump whenever and wherever possible (very much like Coulter).

Coulter’s hubris compels her to think she can accomplish anything, distorts her perceptions of the world and reality, and clouds her judgment.

Jeffers Dodge in 2006

Long before that, in 2006, Coulter endorsed and campaigned for her friend, Jeffers Dodge, for California state assembly. Dodge lost in another abysmal landslide defeat (85% to 15%).

[NOTE: These are just some highlights of Coulter’s infamous endorsements which backfired. Perhaps Ann is not the king-maker that she would have us to believe.[vi]]

Ann Coulter in 2000

Coulter’s own political ambitions were thwarted two decades ago. Talk about utter humiliation!

From 1999-2000, Coulter desperately sought to get on the ballot – for any party – to oppose her own Republican congressman (Chris Shays) in an act of revenge for his vote against the impeachment of Bill Clinton. The Republican Party was not interested given their satisfaction with Shay’s performance.[vii]

Coulter then groveled before the Libertarian Party, believing her celebrity status would draw votes away from Shays, but the Libertarians wanted a true Libertarian who would endorse the Libertarian candidate for president.

Coulter has hated libertarians ever since.

CRUSHING Defeat For @JeffSessions AND @AnnCoulter

Jeff Sessions was trounced by his rival for an Alabama senate seat, despite years of endorsements and support by anti-Trump “conservative” Ann Coulter.

Indeed, over the past few weeks, Coulter’s tweeter rants against Trump and for Sessions proved futile!
Ironically, Coulter blames Trump and neither Sessions nor herself for their defeat!
What do the people of Alabama know that bi-coastal elite and New England carpetbagger Coulter does not know?
Why was Coulter so very wrong about Sessions and why does she continue to be so obtuse about President Trump? #TDS!
Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

.@AnnCoulter is NOT an American Patriot

For four years now, Ann Coulter has – in word and in deed – rejected the tenets of her last two books: in Trump, Coulter does not trust; Coulter has become part of the resistance which she claimed was futile.

This proved true over the Fourth of July weekend.

Coulter did not tweet one single time about Trump’s fantastically patriotic and positive speech, nor did she rebut leftist claims that it was “dark and divisive.” Instead, Coulter continued her attack on Trump, his family, and his policies.

In this definitive battle between the forces of darkness and of the light, between civilization on the one hand and chaos leading to tyranny on the other, Ann Coulter has more often than not sided with America’s enemies against America, America’s roots, and America’s standard-bearer for American Civilization – Donald Trump.

.@AnnCoulter Crack-Up

The end of May 2020 saw #WackyNutJob Ann Coulter going even more berserk than ever!

Coulter had a Twitter meltdown on May 24th,[1] an interview meltdown on May 26th,[2] and another Twitter meltdown on May 28th.

In that May 28th meltdown, Coulter made asinine assertions, proffered fabricated “facts,” employed hysterical hyperbole, and irrationally impugned both the motives and agenda of Trump and his administration.

On May 28, 2020, Coulter:

  • claimed that Trump has done nothing for his supporters, calling him a “big betrayer.”
  • accused Trump of narcissism in going after Twitter for fact-checking him.
  • asserted, once again, that Trump is not building a wall.
  • repeatedly blamed Trump for riots in Minneapolis, calling it “Trump’s America.”
  • “A violent mob is about to burn down a Minneapolis police precinct in Trump’s America.”
  • “Even a senile dementia patient sitting in his basement with a mask on would send in the National Guard to stop this sickness.”
  • claimed Trump’s executive order on big tech companies is all bark and no bite.
  • sarcastically feigned surprise that Trump had (allegedly) broken a campaign promise.
  • berated (again) Trump for opposing her favorite candidate, Jeff Sessions, commending Sessions in multiple tweets.
  • called for someone else to run for president in place of Trump.
  • objected to Trumps tweets about Joe Scarborough.

We are witnessing a Coulter crack-up (or breakdown, if you prefer) because reality, facts, and truth do not align with the world according to Ann Coulter.

Coulter has become unmoored from any fixed principles apart from her own ego and desire to set America’s agenda. (Who made Coulter president?)

Coulter’s obsession with a wall blinds her to reality,[3] to the far bigger strategic vision that President Trump has been pursuing to Make America Great Again. Instead, all Coulter wants is to Make Coulter Great Again!

Consequently, Coulter has become the Left’s not-so-secret weapon again Trump and America First![4]

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, Coulter was proclaiming an apocalypse in the very midst of an American Renaissance![5]

Since then, Coulter has become wackier than ever![6]

Coulter’s ever-increasing wackiness is recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

.@AnnCoulter’s Unhinged Meltdowns over Trump!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Never Trumper Ann Coulter had a totally off-the-wall Twitter meltdown[1] over one Trump tweet.

Two days later, Coulter had an interview meltdown justifying her lunacy over the weekend.

Highlights from Coulter’s Twitter Meltdown

Highlights from Coulter’s Interview Meltdown

Analysis of Coulter’s Rationale

Let’s look at just one of Coulter’s arguments.

First, Coulter introduces “COVID” (or, she prefers, “Wuhan flu”), as if the Coronavirus pandemic has anything to do with Sessions or the Alabama election.

Second, Coulter claims that the pandemic gave Trump a chance to do something.

Third, what was that something Trump had a chance to do? Well, “to be a decent, compassionate human being.” But, isn’t that what Trump has always been throughout his presidency and, certainly, throughout this pandemic?

Fourth, Coulter indicates that Trump “pretending to be” a “decent, compassionate human being” would be enough for her. So, for Coulter, pretense is enough. Image is more important than reality – an ethos she has certainly lived by throughout her career.

Fifth, Coulter claims, “he couldn’t even do that,” without providing a shred of evidence for her bald-faced lie.

Sixth, in what way did Trump fail to be a “decent, compassionate human being?” Coulter cements her claim to the COVID crisis, but it has nothing to do with the pandemic. No, rather, Coulter is upset at Trump’s political calculus regarding Sessions and Alabama.

Seventh, so Trump is evil because Trump disagrees with Coulter!

Coulter’s meltdowns are in total agreement with her decades-long depiction of the whole of life as being a battle between good and evil, with Coulter always being in the vanguard of what is right, true, and noble. (Reality proves otherwise.)

Trump has, in fact, been battling the forces of darkness arrayed against him since before his inauguration. Remember #ObamaGate, #SpyGate, #DeepStateCoup, #Russia Hoax, #FakeImpeachment, and all of Coulter’s own attacks on Trump?

Coulter’s blind hatred and rage threaten the very outcome she purports to desire: #MAGA!

Coulter’s ever-increasing wackiness is recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

.@AnnCoulter’s Memorial Day Madness!

BREAKING NEWS: Ann Coulter celebrates Memorial Day weekend by lashing out at America’s Commander-in-Chief, employing the politics of personal destruction filled with enmity and lie after lie after lie.

The #TDS is strong in this one!

It’s no wonder why Trump called Coulter a #WackyNutJob and why his label STILL fits!

Here are Coulter’s first eight tweets attacking Trump!

Following is excellent analysis of each of those tweets by people who know better than Coulter, people who actually have a grip on reality.

“Nothing about this statement is true LOL. You’re up early trolling!”

“@AnnCoulter you are the darkness.”

“The President of the United States called this woman ‘a total nut job.’ She proves him right every time she opens her mouth.”

“Wow. Full on Angry Elf Mode right from the get-go this morning. What kind of coffee is that?”

“What the heck are you doing Ann, just retweeting the same retweet over and over and over and over. You ok?”

“Have you lost your mind?”

“It seems that you lost the compass. You are lost.”

“The way you interpret things prevents you from doing anything about anything.”

“Let’s pump the brakes on this one Ann. Nobody in history has fulfilled more campaign promises than DJT.”

Why is Ann Coulter so … off?

Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged provides an in-depth, detailed analysis of Coulter’s worldview and character flaws which have led her to be so wrong in so many areas in which she regards herself as an expert.

.@AnnCoulter – Wackier Than Ever!

#WackyNutJob Ann Coulter both claims that she is “the head of Trump’s re-election campaign” and declares that she will attack Trump more than ever in 2020.

Last year, I exposed Coulter as the Left’s secret weapon against Trump and against America.[1]

Coulter was also exposed as a betrayer extraordinaire![2] Nevertheless, Coulter has the audacity to charge Trump with disloyalty.

Cognitive dissonance reigns in Coulter’s mind. Doublethink prevails.

Coulter continually attacks Trump for pursuing our #AmericaFirst agenda (in a holistic and not compartmentalized manner), consistently denounces Trump’s character and integrity, yet, somehow, this is helping him get re-elected?

Coulter has – for years – been a liability to Conservatism, America, and Trump’s #AmericaFirst agenda. (This series of essays will flesh that out in more detail.)

Coulter is virulently anti-Trump (she hates his entire family), is crazy about a wall and only a wall, and loves his “Mexican rapists” line – which is the line which the Left points to as proof of Trump’s racism.

Thanks a lot, Ann.

Trump Keeps His Promises

Every day, we see more evidence that Trump already has an amazing record of extraordinary achievements[3] toward Making America Great Again, and most Americans – apart from Coulter and the #TDS-addled Left – can see those accomplishments and want to reward him with a #Trump2020LandslideVictory!

Unlike Coulter, Trump keeps his promises. Yet, Coulter absurdly contends that Trump hasn’t kept any of his promises.

In contrast, last year Charlie Kirk highlighted many of those kept promises:

(Question for Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA: If Coulter has continually blatantly lied about President Trump for almost four years and is siding with the #FakeNewsMedia against Trump, then why are you sponsoring Coulter’s speeches?)

American Thinker recently reported on a Trump rally, writing (bold and underlined emphasis added):

When Trump spoke about outreach to the black community, the whole crowd roared its approval.  People there clearly believe that blacks have been enslaved by the Democrat party for too long. It’s time for them to break free and come to a community that welcomes them as fellow Americans who can enjoy this land’s bounty, rather than as a victim class that can reliably be played for votes as needed.

While the crowd may have been mostly white, there was nothing else “mostly” about it. Judging by looks, there were young families, retirees, current and former military, cops, blue-collar workers, white-collar workers, bikers, farmers, scads of “women for Trump,” high school and college students, polished urban people, and rough hewn country people.  What bound them together was a shared love of country and, because he is serving this country well, love of Trump.

In 2020, they’re supporting him more fervently than ever because he kept those promises. That was the theme they came to over and over again: he kept his promises.

And they agreed with his policies: a controlled border protects us from criminals, job-takers, and disease; socialism is bad; the Second Amendment is good; law enforcement is good; Trump’s economic policies are great; skin color shouldn’t matter; and Israel deserves America’s support. They see only good coming from Trump having four more years – and, given how Congress and the press treated him during three of his first four years, they jokingly agree that he should get a do-over.

To the above list, I would add his revamping of the judiciary, incredible support for the pro-life movement, opposition to human trafficking, and restoration of America’s position on the world stage.

In contrast, Coulter attacks Trump whenever he deals with anything which is not related to the wall or immigration. Coulter’s tunnel vision blinds her to the reality of what Trump is doing – an end run around the #DeepState, #Resistance, and #FakeNewsMedia.

Moreover, President Trump is for all Americans, not just the white Americans Coulter demands he cater to.

Trump’s Kept Promises!

American Thinker provided superb analysis of Trump’s economic achievements, writing (emphasis added):

When Trump took office, the U.S and World economies were slowing. The CBO projected job growth of 1.8 million in Trump’s first three years. We were told that the labor force was aging and that is all we could get.  Economic “experts” like Paul Krugman and Mark Zandi, who always shill for Democrats, predicted a severe recession with millions of job losses.

Instead, in the first three years we got around seven million new jobs, one million fewer part time jobs, a higher labor participation rate, a record high around seven million job openings and we finally got rising wages, especially for those at the bottom.

We also got record oil production because of Trump’s policies, and despite rising interest rates, we have had soaring stock markets, until the current coronavirus scare, because of Trump’s tax cuts.

We also got stabilized health care insurance rates after Trump got rid of the individual mandates – despite predictions prices would soar. Freedom of choice and more competition always work. We have a lot of slow earners. Life expectancy finally ticked back up after getting rid of the individual mandates.

We also have fewer people on food stamps because more people, especially minorities, the disabled, blue collar workers and the less educated, have more economic opportunities and are earning more. Many categories of workers have reached record low unemployment. No, President Obama, it did not take magic to bring back manufacturing jobs, it just took good policies.

We were told that the tax cuts would only help the rich and would cause revenues to go down trillions. Those were both lies.

It is not luck that the U.S economy is doing so much better than Europe and other countries around the World. It is because Trump’s policies focus every day on getting the power and purse back to the people as fast as possible instead of building up the greedy, powerful government. He is the opposite of the dictator and fascist that he is called.

American Thinker also outlined many of Trump’s judicial accomplishments, writing:

In the two to three years since that rash of decisions, Trump and Sen. Mitch McConnell have been working steadily to break the stranglehold activist judges have on the federal judicial system. To that end, they have placed 193 new judges in the federal system.

These are judges who do not believe that it is their role to legislate from the bench, who do not believe that the Constitution is a “living document” that can be folded, spindled, and mutilated to justify any outcome they want, and who do not believe that their emotional responses override the law.  Instead, strict constructionists believe that it is their responsibility to interpret the Constitution and the law as written, and as the drafters intended, regardless of their preferred outcome.

Donald Trump is finally able to fulfill his promises regarding immigration. And unlike what Obama did, when he unconstitutionally implemented his “DREAMer” policies, Trump is not rewriting or ignoring existing law. Instead, Trump has been working to enforce federal immigration laws as written. It took getting a majority of strict constructionist judges on the federal bench to stop activist judges from blocking his efforts to enforce the law.

But Coulter still vilifies Trump for not building a wall on her timetable!

#RussiaHoax Continues

American Thinker also had a feature which addressed the illogical and ideological fallacy of the whole spectrum of #RussiaHoax claims that we have seen over the past four years. He writes (emphasis added):

It is relatively easy to surmise the kind of leader whom Vladimir Putin or Xi Jinping would love to see leading America.

That leader would be weak, show little interest in a militarily strong America or its allies, and implement policies that would weaken America and American influence. That leader would be skeptical of capitalism and would be advocating the dismemberment of the U.S. energy sector, since this would significantly boost Russia’s economic prospects and global influence while crippling America. That leader would propose obscene levels of government spending to bury the country under a mountain of debt. He would be all in on open borders.  He would be groovy with unfair trade agreements and would seek to tie America’s hands behind its back with ineffective international treaties and agreements. That leader would be a committed globalist inclined to see America as the problem. He might even own a flexible red plastic reset button.

Notably, there are candidates aplenty in the race who check the right boxes, and none of them is named Trump. Anyone who is telling you Russia wants Trump to be re-elected is telling the big lie, one that is so absurd that only a university-educated fool would believe it. It also demonstrates that the media and their fellow Democrat travelers are convinced that Americans really are a special kind of stupid.

Coulter ignores the daily and hourly onslaught of attacks against President Trump and foolishly adds to those attacks!

#DeepStateCoup

Is Coulter unmindful of the depth to which the Left has sought to undo the 2016 election and prevent a #Trump2020LandslideVictory?

In fact, Coulter seems sure that he will lose if he doesn’t build a wall to her liking.

American Thinker offered highlights from 2015 to the present. Here are a few selected paragraphs:

The Justice Department then used this fictitious document to commit fraud on the FISA Court. The DOJ needed to lie in order to spy on and infiltrate the Trump campaign. Its agents needed insurance to make sure Hillary won. They didn’t care how many people and families they destroyed and how many crimes they had to commit to achieve their only goal, which was to elect Hillary. So far, few, if any, of the criminals in the Justice Department have been charged.

Most of the media never cared about any of the crimes or unrelenting attacks on Trump. In fact, they were a major participant.

Then, Heaven forbid, Trump beat the odds and won, and the attacks escalated. Most of the media, bureaucrats, and other Democrats set out to impeach Trump, no matter how many fictional charges they had to bring. The investigations and fake articles have been unrelenting. The number of people Democrats are willing to destroy as they quest for power is pathetic.

Still, Coulter joins the chorus of far-left activists denouncing Trump, while claiming she is helping him!

Coulter’s ever-increasing wackiness is recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

@AnnCoulter Trashes Trump and CPAC

Ever vindictive, Ann Coulter has trashed CPAC for the better part of a dozen years and she has trashed President Trump since even before his (first) inauguration.

Why? If she doesn’t get her way, she goes for the jugular.

CPAC (and many other conservative organizations) quietly rejected Coulter a long, long time ago. However, Trump’s rejection was very public, with him calling her, justifiably so, a #WackyNutJob!

(Ironically, hubris and arrogance have been Coulter’s downfall but she is too proud and arrogant to see it.)

Repentance and forgiveness remain utterly foreign concepts to Coulter, who claims to be a Christian.

Just this month, Coulter went on a Twitter tirade against both Trump and CPAC. As those things go, it was ugly.

Here are a few of her tweets and responses from her followers:

Here’s another set:

Consider the context of Coulter’s complaint. Trump was thanking the head of the organization – Matt Schlapp – for his repeated invitations to speak at CPAC. Trump spoke at CPAC in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and is scheduled to speak in 2020.

Why would Trump thank Lisa de Pasquale, an ardent Coulter fan and acolyte who betrayed CPAC to help Coulter? In fact, de Pasquale actually launched anti-CPAC events to coincide with CPAC conferences.

Coulter doesn’t know the meaning of the word “loyalty.”

Coulter’s various escapades at CPAC are recounted in Joker: Ann Coulter Unplugged, which provides an in-depth, detailed and holistic exposé of Ann Coulter.

@AnnCoulter at Her Best

Recently, Ann Coulter celebrated her 58th birthday. Over the years, I have been very critical of Ann, and rightly so, but here I want to acknowledge her strengths and offer you a sampling of the best of her commentary.

Many have remarked upon Ann’s wit and charm (neither of which are necessarily indicators of morality in and of themselves). She is telegenic and knows how to court her audiences in person and on-air.

Ann has written 13 books (of varying quality), published close to 2,000 columns, given tens of thousands of interviews, and was once a favorite (and increasingly controversial) public speaker.

Following are selections from some of Ann’s best columns for your enjoyment and edification.

October 2014 – Ebola Crisis

Ann’s Ebola column was priceless.[1] Factual, well-reasoned, incisive, witty, non-polemical. (I wouldn’t change a word.)

Ann also wrote a literary gem[2] which I would like to share with you.[3]

Entitled “Your ‘to do’ list to save America,” Ann addressed the upcoming elections with insight, wit, and vigor. I thoroughly enjoyed her literary style (while disagreeing with a few of her points). It was well written and engaging, with a good overall structure, and it adroitly expressed her intended message with flair. Forceful, yet restrained.

Ann opened with the need to “swing the Senate to Republican control,” then, in her second paragraph, wrote my favorite sentence in this column:

“Turn that into a mnemonic, sew it on needlepoint pillows, include it in your wedding vows, right-wingers.” Beautiful imagery, quaint, to the point, with a cascading effect which lends a subtle sense of mounting urgency.

March 2017 – Illegals Rape Children

In perhaps her best column of 2017, Ann exquisitely expressed the dangers of political correctness, identity politics, and the negative impact of open borders on America. The tragic rape of a 14-year-old girl – and its emotional and political fallout – deeply touched Ann’s heart, largely in part because it was an illegal raping an American teenager.

May 2017 – Manchester Concert Terrorist Attack

In a poignant column published shortly after the Manchester concert terrorist attack in May, 2017, Ann’s satirically titled column – “Rome Burns – Nero Worries About Pyrophobia” – cut to the heart of the matter. It is, perhaps, her second-best column of 2017.

This was one of Ann’s two best columns of 2017, written with deep passion and conviction about an issue dear to her heart.

June 2017 – Alexandria Shooting

Ann highlighted the hypocrisy and partisan political agenda of the Fake News Media in the wake of an assassination attempt by a Leftist against a group of Republican political leaders! (Trump Derangement Syndrome prevails on the Left. Though, of late, Coulter has been captured by its allure.)

August 2017 – Statue of Liberty

Ann spotlighted the absurdity of the Left’s immigration talking points and their looking to a poem written by Emma Lazarus which is on the Statue of Liberty donated to America by France instead of looking to what is written in our American Constitution.

September 2017 – Immigration Moratorium

Ann showcased the lunacy of current immigration policy and the failure of politicians to protect the American people from dangers both foreign and domestic.

October 2017 – Snarky Media

Apparently without any self-reflection at all, Ann accurately observed the nature of the Fake News Media and its failure to objectively report the facts on the great issues of our day.

November 2017 – Sexual Harassment

Ann exposed the sham nature of the #MeToo movement and its double standards when reporting on liberal vs. conservative villains.

January 2018 – Being an American

Ann drew a line in the sand between those who are American patriots and those who are self-proclaimed citizens of the world.

March 2018 – Walls Work

Through the first two years of the Trump presidency, the Left’s primary talking point regarding securing our border is that nothing can be done about the influx of illegal aliens and that walls do not work. Ann’s counterargument refuted their nonsense.

March 2018 – White Privilege

Ann mocked the Identity Politics Left, which has championed the nonsensical White Privilege narrative for perhaps a decade or more. (Of course, Coulter has her own equally nonsensical WASP Privilege narrative.)

June 2018 – End Immigration[4]

In denouncing the open borders movement, Ann eloquently expressed how unlimited immigration is transforming America from top to bottom.

June 2018 – Genocidal Rwandan Refugees

Ann contrasted absorbing alleged refugees from extremely dysfunctional countries who bring with them the violent antisocial aspects of their homelands to America with the Left’s obsession over microaggressions in American culture.

The only culture the Left condemns is America’s!

July 2018 – SCOTUS Panic

Because the ideas of the Left are anathema to most Americans, the Left has used the courts to implement its agenda which is contrary to the will of the people. Ann pointed out why the Left is so incensed over Supreme Court and lower court nominations, employing scorched-earth politics and ad hominen rhetoric against those it deems a threat to its Progressive agenda.

October 2018 – Sanctuary Cities

Ann explained why she calls sanctuary cities the new Jim Crow.

January 2019 – Leftist Anti-Wall Talking Points Walled Off from Reality

Ann cogently and humorously explained why walls work, why they can and should be built, and why the Left’s preferred solutions are ineffective.

 May 2019 – #BuildTheWall

Though I disagree with Ann’s continued attacks against Trump over immigration and the wall, Ann did a good job rhetorically of conveying her viewpoint.

August 2019 – Democrats Should be on a Terrorist Watch List

Ann hoisted the Left on its own petard, using its own standards, to declare that “every Democratic presidential candidate should be on a terrorist watch list right now.”

But for a nuts-and-bolts let’s-get-down-to-the-details election analysis, it was top notch, and, again, an enjoyable read. Consider it an unpolished diamond.

Heartless Hurricane @AnnCoulter Wreaks Havoc

For over two decades, self-described controversialist Ann Coulter has been an ambulance chaser, exploiting local, regional, and national tragedies for partisan, political, and personal purposes.

Thereby, Coulter has exposed the callousness of her own heart, showing apathy for (indeed, cruelty toward) those innocents who are suffering these tragedies or those who are unwitting victims of her wrath.

Since at least 1997, Coulter has betrayed a host of people from friends and colleagues to speech sponsors and other organizations. As a direct consequence of her treacherous behavior, most of her peers, sponsors, media outlets, and fans have rejected her.

Moerover, Coulter once doxxed Lydia Cornell for a whole year, ruthessly terrorizing her and her family.

Praying for Disaster

Coulter’s tweets during Hurricane Dorian are illustrative of her “compassionate” nature toward humanity. But first, let’s revisit her views on natural disasters as expressed in 1996-97. (They haven’t changed, nor has she.)

In 1996, Coulter conceived this novel concept:

What? People would be praying for disaster? In order to not pay taxes?

Clearly, Coulter has no conception of the horrors that afflict people in these disasters: from the irreplaceable loss of property and personal possessions to bodily injury and loss of life, not to mention the trauma accompanying such catastrophes.

Extended Riff on Disaster Relief

Ann Coulter (9/8/96):

“Well, I have a slightly novel twist on it. I always thought that because there are a lot of disasters, I mean, this year alone there has been an enormous number, and the federal government, you know, jumps in and gives all of this financial assistance – which is, of course, taken from us to begin with. It’s not like the government is a profitable institution or a philanthropic institution. The only money it has comes from us. How about, any area hit by a disaster doesn’t have to pay taxes for the next five years? People would be praying for disasters in their areas.”

Continuing:

“They’re stealing our money, funneling it through Washington, and then sending it back to certain isolated areas. If we’re gonna designate the isolated areas anyway, we should say ‘No taxes.’”

Ann Coulter (5/24/97):

“That is one of the most pathetic things about this whole system and that is the American people are so dependent on the federal government for, you know, their needs when a disaster strikes. Well, if the federal government weren’t stealing half of our money to begin with and then doling it out here and there in little favors, and the Democrats demagoging on this.”

Continuing:

“Don’t you think it seems to be incredibly stupid and inefficient for a centralized government to be sucking up all of our money and then having to take a vote to distribute it back to us on an as needed basis? Why should they start with our money?”

Coulter is correct that the federal government has intruded into far too many areas of the lives of American citizens and, I’m sure she is well aware of the impressive ways private charitable organizations step in to help in times of tragedy. However, Coulter seems ignorant of two aspects of natural disasters.

First, federal, state, and local governments have crucial roles in alleviating suffering and mitigating the dynamics of those particular disasters.

Second, Coulter utterly ignores the immediacy of the needs of the people experiencing these emergencies.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma

Coulter’s callousness toward the castrophic effects on the lives and livelihoods of people as a result of natural disasters was evident when Hurricanes Harvey and Irma targeted America in 2017.

In one tweet, Coulter obliguely claimed God’s wrath was being poured out on Houston for “electing a lesbian mayor.” Then she denied doing so. Coulter was roundly mocked for her suggestion and was also proven wrong about the identity of the mayor!

Many people on Twitter used her own style to mock Coulter.

But Coulter was not yet finished. In the midst of the carnage, Coulter offered this “joke”:

Upon hearing that illegal aliens might die in the disaster, Coulter tweeted: “It’s sucks to break the law.” (Misspelling in the original.)

Having learned absolutely nothing from her experiences, Coulter then mocked the impending disaster posed by Hurricane Irma, tweeting (in caps!): “HURRICANE UPDATE FROM MIAMI; RESIDENTS AT RISK OF DYING FROM BOREDOM.”

Coulter was lambasted for her “heartless humor.”

Two years later and nothing has changed. Coulter remains impenitent and heartless.

Hurricane Dorian

In a series of tweets, Coulter showed a total disregard for the magnitude of (and potential devastation that could be caused by) Hurricane Dorian. Instead, she politicized this event, using it to berate President Trump, attack Delta Airlines, excoriate illegal aliens, and mock the hurricane itself.

In her last tweet, Coulter ridiculed the stationary position of the hurricane over the Bahamas, ignoring its devastating impact on the chain of islands. Again, Twitter reprimanded Coulter.

Why does Coulter persist in such nonsense?

Could it be that Coulter has a heart problem?

YES!
